Para ajustar la holgura de la cadena de transmisi n proceda de la siguiente manera 1 Apoye la motocicleta en el soporte lateral con la transmisi n en punto muerto y el motor apagado 2 Quite la tuerca del eje trasero 1 3 Afloje las contratuercas 2 de las dos tuercas de ajuste 3 4 Gire las tuercas de ajuste derecha e izquierda un n mero igual de vueltas hasta obtener la holgura especificada para la cadena de transmisi n Gire las tuercas de ajuste en el sentido horario para disminuir la holgura de la cadena y en el sentido contra horario para aumentar la holgura La cadena debe presentar una holgura de 20 30 mm en el tramo central inferior Gire la rueda trasera y verifique si la holgura permanece constante en otros puntos de la cadena 5 Cerci rese de que el eje trasero est alineado correctamente Las marcas de referencia 4 deber n estar alineadas con la extremidad trasera de la marca de referencia 5 6 En caso de que el eje trasero est desalineado gire las tuercas de ajuste derecha o izquierda hasta obtener la alineaci n correcta Verifique una vez m s la holgura de la cadena Manual del Propietario 1 Tuerca del eje trasero Contratuerca 3 Tuerca de ajuste 4 Marca de referencia 5 Extremidad trasera de la marca de referencia 7 Apriete la tuerca del eje trasero Par de Apriete 93 N m 9 3 kg m 8 Apriete ligeramente las tuercas de ajuste F jelas con

Accione el motor y d jelo funcionar durante algunos minutos ADVERTENCIA e No aplique spray antioxidante en el rea pr ximo al sistema de freno e La eficiencia de los frenos puede ser afectada temporalmente despu s del lavado Tenga cuidado en las primeras frenadas e Compruebe los frenos antes de conducir la motocicleta Podr ser necesario accionar los frenos algunas veces para restituir su desempe o normal 69 CONSERVACI N DE MOTOCICLETAS INACTIVAS ATENCI N La bater a de su motocicleta se carga cuando el sistema de carga es activado durante la utilizaci n de la motocicleta bajo condiciones normales Para prolongar la vida til de la bater a recomendase la utilizaci n frecuente de la motocicleta por lo menos una vez por semana ADVERTENCIA Mantener el motor en ralent por m s de 5 minutos con la motocicleta parada en la temperatura normal podr ocasionar el descolorido del tubo de escape pues esta motocicleta es enfriada a aire y necesita permutar el calor con el medio exterior En caso de que haya necesidad de mantener la motocicleta inactiva durante un per odo prolongado se debe observar ciertos cuidados para reducir los efectos de deterioro causados por la inactividad de la motocicleta ANTES de colocar la motocicleta en inactividad efect e todos los reparos que sean necesarios En caso contrario esos reparos podr n ser olvidados cuando se vuelva a colocar la motocic

Freno Delantero Esta motocicleta est equipada con freno delantero a disco de accionamiento hidr ulico A medida que las pastillas de freno se desgastan el nivel de fluido de freno en el dep sito baja compesando autom ticamente ese desgaste El ajuste no es necesario pero el nivel de fluido de freno y el desgaste de las pastillas se deben verificar peri dicamente Es importante que se compruebe tambi n con respecto a fugas de fluido En caso de que el juego de la palanca del freno sea excesivo aun cuando el desgaste de las pastillas no haya sobrepasado el l mite de servicio p g 58 esto indica una probable infiltraci n de aire en el sistema que entonces deber ser purgado Dir jase a un distribuidor Honda para efectuar este servicio 17 Nivel de Fluido del Freno Delantero ADVERTENCIA El fluido de freno provoca irritaciones Evite el contacto con la piel y con los ojos En caso de contacto lave el rea afectada con bastante agua En caso de que los ojos hayan sido afectados busque auxilio m dico MANTENHA EL FLUIDO FUERA DEL ALCANCE DE LOS NINOS ATENCI N e Cerci rese de que el dep sito est en posici n horizontal antes de quitar la tapa y completar el nivel de fluido e Utilice solamente fluido de freno con las especificaciones DOT 4 Verifique si el embalaje es original y si no ha sido violado e Tenga mucho cuidado al manipular el fluido de freno pues en caso de contacto l puede
