8. replacing for optimal performance The Eco Silver pre filter should be replaced after approximately 3 months When the pre filter timer light is illuminated you should replace with the new Eco Silver pre filter The HEPA filter should be replaced after approximately 12 months When the HEPA filter timer light is illuminated you should replace with the new HEPA filter Replace Eco Silver pre filter amp HEPA filter Remove any packaging and plastic bag from the new filters before replacement 1 When the pre filter or HEPA filter light is illuminated you should open the front grill and replace the filter 2 When you change the filter press the reset icon 3 Turn the air purifier OFF and unplug it from the power outlet 4 Press the oval buttons on each side of the unit to release the grill While lifting up and away from the unit remove the grill Figure 1 amp figure 2 5 Remove and discard the filter 6 Set new filter into the air purifier Ensure the filter is seated fully into the unit by pressing all four corners of the lifter Figure 3 7 Install the front grill by engaging its tabs into the bottom slots on the unit Figure 5 Then swing grill up and gently push in top to snap into place Figure 6 8 Plug the air purifier into an outlet for operation IMPORTANT Do not use water any liquid or detergents to clean the filter DO NOT attempt to wash the filter as damage to the filter or air purifier may occur
