1. 16 INSTALLATION AND START UP 1 Connect one end of handset coil cord to the handset jack 2 Connect the other end of the coil cord to the jack on the base unit please refer to the Key Diagram on page 16 marked as 5 3 Connect one end of the line cord to the wall oulet 4 Connect the other end of the line cord to the jack on the base unit please refer to the Key Diagram on page 16 marked as 12 5 At this moment once you lift the handset from the cradle you should have dial tone and you will be able to make receive calls Wall mounting This telephone set can be mounted on wall Please use the wall mounting pattern from the Annex A of this manual To prevent the handset from falling take the handset guide out please refer to the Key Diagram on page 15 marked as 5 You can use the curve area of a paper clip to take it out to avoid scratching the unit Once you have taken this piece out rotate it 180 and then reinsert it in the original place e ysi 6uz 17 OPERATION Ringer tone and volume control The Spiker PH539S has 3 different ringer tones each one with 3 different volume levels To program this feature please follow these steps Pick up the handset and press D M The LED indicator will flash Press the button and then press the digit corresponding to the ringer tone and also the volume desired as per the following table Digit Tone Volume Long pitch Low Long pitch Medium2. 10 FUNCIONAMIENTO TeclaR Si tiene contratado el servicio de llamada en espera con el operador de servicios de telefonia podra recibir una segunda llamada mientras mantiene una conversaci n En ese caso escuchar un tono para indicarle que tiene una segunda llamada y podr aceptar la nueva pulsando la tecla R y a continuaci n la tecla 3 En este caso la primera llamada quedar en espera y podr hablar con la segunda Para volver a la primera conversaci n y retener la segunda llamada pulse la tecla R y a continuaci n la tecla Para cambiar a la segunda conversaci n pulse R y a continuaci n la tecla Para realizar una conferencia a 3 puede pulsar la tecla R y a continuaci n la tecla Autom ticamente las dos llamadas que ten a en marcha se unir n y podr n hablar simultaneamente los tres Si el Spiker PH539S est instalado en una centralita podr transferir llamadas pulsando la tecla R y a continuaci n pulsando el n mero de extensi n al que desea transferir una llamada Silenciar el micr fono Durante una conversaci n pulse la tecla 8l para desconectar el micr fono De esta manera la persona con la que estuviera hablando no le escuchar Para reestablecer la conversaci n y activar el micr fono pulse de nuevo la tecla D L Para indicarle que tiene el micr fono silenciado el LED indicador parpadear cuando tenga esta funci n activa 11 MANTENIMIENTO Limpieza del producto

ATION Call to a number in memory To call to a number stored in memory 1 Lift the handset from the cradle 2 Press the aiia button and then the memory location where the number is stored The number will be dialled out Please note that all memories will be maintained up to 2 minutes if the telephone line is disconnected Last number redial If you wish to call the last number dialed obtain dial tone by lifting up the handset and then press the O9 P This is an interesting function when the dialed number is busy all the time Then you can repeat the procedure until you get the line through Pause function If you would like to insert a 2 seconds pause in the dialling sequence just press the O9 P English 20 OPERATION Flash time If you have subscribed the call waiting service from your local phone company you will be able to receive a second call while you are processing a conversation In this case you will hear a beep tone to advise you have a second call You can accept the second call by pressing the R button and then the key In this case the first call will be hold and you can talk to the second To resume the first conversation and hold the second one press the R button and then the key To switch again to the second call press R and then O To make a 3 party conference you can press the R button and then the 3 key After that both calls and you will be connected and you will be able to talk simultan

13. num ricas del tel fono del 0 al 9 El siguiente ejemplo muestra como grabar el n mero 902400125 en la memoria 1 Descuelgue el auricular 2 Pulse la tecla 2 8 y el LED parpadear 3 Pulse la tecla sfa seguida de la tecla y a continuaci n teclee el numero a grabar en este caso el 902400125 4 Pulse la tecla 2 8 para confirmar la grabaci n y cuelgue el auricular Para programar m s memorias siga el mismo procedimiento en el resto de n meros libres del 1 al 9 9 Espa ol FUNCIONAMIENTO Llamar a un n mero grabado en las memorias indirectas Para acceder a un n mero grabado en memoria 1 Descuelgue el auricular 2 Pulse la tecla ais seguido del banco de memoria donde guard el n mero deseado El n mero se marcar autom ticamente Tenga en cuenta que todas las memorias inclu da la memoria VIP de este tel fono se borrar n transcurridos 2 minutos desde que el tel fono se desconecte de la l nea telef nica Rellamada al ltimo n mero Si desea volver a llamar al ltimo n mero marcado simplemente descuelgue el auricular y espere a tener tono de l nea A continuaci n pulse la tecla Ge P y el numero se marcara automaticamente Esta funci n es de gran utilidad cuando el numero al que llama est comunicando y deba hacer varios intentos hasta poder establer la comunicaci n Funci n Pausa Cuando desee introducir una pausa de 2 segundos en la secuencia de marcaci n pulse la tecla Q9 P
