1. CHAMBERLAIN LiftMaster PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION Mounting the standby power unit SPU can be done using one of two methods The SPU can be mounted directly on top of the motor unit or it can be secured on a structural support just above it Holes for Ceiling Mount ie Standby Power Unit SPU EverCh EVErY har g e Side Screw BD Slots for sree 1 1 2 Chassis Mount ak Mounting the SPU Directly to the Motor Unit e Position the SPU on top of the motor unit Make sure the motor unit power cord is drawn out from beneath the SPU The SPU should sit firmly on top of the motor unit Adjust angle iron placement so that it is out of the way of the SPU s installation Figure 1 e Align the two screw slots on the SPU to the back chassis holes e Secure the SPU to each side of the chassis flanges with 3 4 screws provided 2 Mounting the SPU Directly to a Structural Support e After the motor unit has been installed the SPU can be mounted to either the ceiling or a wall within 3 9 m of the motor unit e Position the SPU as desired to a structural support ceiling joist or wall stud Figure 2 e Attach the SPU to the support using the mounting holes on either side of the SPU e Secure the SPU using the 1 1 2 lag screws provided 3 Connect the SPU to the Motor Unit e Disconnect the motor unit from the electrical outlet e Connect the SPU cord into the connector2. Pour r duire les risques d INCENDIE ou de BLESSURE n utiliser que la pi ce Chamberlain num ro 41B591 pour remplacer les batteries FONCTIONNEMENT 1 Test de la SPU install e avec le moteur Pour tester la SPU d brancher le moteur de la prise de courant e Une LED jaune s allume en continu pour indiquer que la SPU fonctionne sur accumulateur e Une LED jaune clignotante accompagn e d un bip indique que la SPU fonctionne sur accumulateur et que la batterie est presque puis e e Pour effectuer un test complet du fonctionnement correct de la SPU ouvrir et refermer la porte du garage e Re connecter le cordon d alimentation du moteur la prise de courant e S assurer que la LED verte clignote sur la SPU elle indique que la SPU est maintenant en cours de chargement e Le test est ainsi termin 2 Charger la batterie e Permettre aux accumulateurs de se charger compl tement pendant 24 48 heures avant d utiliser le syst me de la SPU Une SPU a pleine charge alimente le moteur en tension 24 V cc permettant un ou deux jours de fonctionnement normal en cas de panne de courant Si la tension de la batterie devient trop faible les batteries se d branchent automatiquement et le moteur ne peut plus fonctionner sous l alimentation de la batterie Apr s le r tablissement de la tension secteur les batteries se rechargent sous 48 heures Sous un usage normal ces batteries peuvent durer entre 3 et 5 a

4. mont e soit au plafond soit sur un mur un maximum de 3 pi 0 9 m du moteur e Au besoin placez la SPU sur un support structurel solive de plafond ou poteau mural Figure 2 gt e Attachez la SPU au support l aide des orifices de fixation Figure 2 situ s d un c t ou de l autre du bo tier du syst me Vis tire fond de 1 1 2 d e Fixez la SPU avec les tire fonds de 1 pouce 1 2 fournies E 3 Connecter SPU au moteur NN Corrant d alimentation i Corrant d alimentation en attente 475LM e D brancher le moteur de la prise de courant Cordon en attente 475LM e Connecter le cordon de la SPU au connecteur se le trouvant sur le c t droit du panneau arri re du moteur La SPU s active et toutes les diodes lectroluminescentes LED s allument pendant trois secondes e La LED verte clignote pour indiquer que la SPU est en Passer le cordon cours de chargement partir du moteur Passer le cordon d alimentation de la batterie de d alimentation par la fente secours par la fente de droite de gauche bonne distance de l antenne REMARQUE IMPORTANTE L installation de la SPU lorsqu il est impossible d avoir de l lectricit comme dans une maison en construction encore d pourvue d installation lectrique risque d endommager la batterie D brancher l unit apr s l avoir test e pour viter de l ab mer Prise de la corrant d alimentation en attente Connecteur ATTENTION

InUse Charging CHAMBERLAIN GREEN LED All systems are normal e A solid LED light indicates the batteries are fully charged e A flashing LED indicates the batteries are being charged NOTE Batteries do not have to be fully charged to operate the motor unit YELLOW LED The motor unit has lost power and is operating off of the SPU e A solid LED with beep sounding approximately every 2 seconds indicates the motor unit is activating the door and is operating off of the SPU e A flashing LED with beep sounding every 30 seconds indicates batteries are low e Once the power is restored the SPU will recharge This is indicated by a flashing green LED RED LED An error has been detected and the SPU will automatically shut off The SPU will attempt to restart by reconnecting to the batteries If the error is still present it will shut itself off again This process will repeat every 5 minutes or until the error has been resolved This is used to prevent further draining of the batteries e f a red LED remains on when the power is restored and is accompanied by a beep sounding every 30 seconds please call for service 2009 The Chamberlain Group Inc 114A2745F All Rights Reserved SE UNIT COURANT LiftMaster D ALIMENTATION EN ATTENTE ER OF ES SIONAL Mod le 475LM Manuel D instructions INSTALLATION Le montage de unit courant d alimentation en attente SPU A AVERTISSEM ENT peut ne se
