EMR 9 model ST 725 2 2011 8 5 TRAFFIC SAFETY MEASURES AT CORNERS WITH DRIVERS FIXATION POINTS AND VEHICLE DYNAMICS USING EYE MARK RECORDER Yuki HORIE and Hiroshi WAKABAYASHI This paper presents an experiment for collecting eyes fixation points of drivers moving along several corners of traffic accident black spot on an urban expressway The data are collected using eye mark re corder and the collected data are analyzed for traffic safety First the vehicle driver who wears eye mark recorder drives along the Nagoya Highway Ring Route where many accidents in particular occur And the eye mark recorded records the driver s fixation point with the different fixation points Second the Viewpoint data from different fixation points are compared The number of stoppage point are also ana lyzed using a software of EMR dFactory Finally dependency of drivers fixation points with the vehicle s tracing are analyzed
