Figure 2 4 Loading labels from a roll For adjustments and easy installation use the hexagonal wrench 1 provided which IEY is located in the bottom section of the print unit No other tools are required for the work described here Loading a roll e Open the cover e Loosen the knurled screw 4 and swivel the guide 5 upwards and push it all the way out e Load the roll of labels on the media hub in such a way that the labels can be inserted into the printhead in the correct position The printing side of the labels must be visible from above e Unwind a label strip approximately 40 cm in length e Push the roll of labels until it makes contact with the housing wall e Swivel the guide 5 downwards onto the media hub 6 and push it against the roll of labels so that the roll is braked slightly when unwound e Tighten the knurled screw 4 Inserting a label strip into e Turn lever 3 counter clockwise to lift the printhead the printhead e Push the setting collar 2 all the way out along the axle e Guide the label strip underneath the axle and through the label edge sensor so that it exits the print unit between the printhead and the pressure roller If a cutter is used push the leading edge of the label strip as far as or slightly into the cutter e Slide the setting collar 2 along the axle toward the outer edge of the label strip 103180_00_i
