PLS Quick Guide Operating Instructions for the HVR505 Special Features Horizontal Levelling Detector Scanning Slope and vertical modes o Mount the laser on a wall mount or tripod Picture A e Push the Power on button see picture A The red LED light will illuminate and the laser beam will start flashing e After the laser has levelled the laser will rotate fast for levelling using the Detector for outside use Picture B e For inside use where the beam needs to be visible the head rotation can be slowed down or speeded up by repeatedly pressing the speed rotation button see picture B Picture C For even higher beam visibility the scan mode can be selected by repeatedly pressing the scan button which will shorten or lengthen the laser line see picture C e The scan line or the laser spot can be moved left or right by repeatedly pressing either of the head direction rotation buttons see picture D Picture D e Ifa slope is required this can be achieved by first pressing the manual levelling button and the green LED will illuminate s icture E fener Picture E e The laser beam can now be sloped in one or two axis using the four arrowed buttons see picture F To return the laser back to level position push the manual levelling button and the green LED will switch off and unit will level Picture F e For vertical use turn the unit on its side and allow laser to level and u2. se controls as in horizontal mode Picture G e To align beam to job use left and right arrowed buttons see picture G
