Ready2ZTalk PA Portable System Operation instructions Thank you for purchasing the Ready2Talk PA Portable system All you need is an ipod input socket on your stereo and a cigar lighter socket Ready here you go 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Plug the power into the cigar lighter socket and the 3 5mm plug in to the iPod or AUX input on your stereo Change the setting on your stereo to AUX and you re good to go some stereos might change modes automatically Plug the microphone in to the socket on the top of the PA Portable place the headset on your head with the microphone approximately 2 to 3 cm or 1 from your mouth Turn on the switch on the front of the box and the red LED power indicator light will come on Turn up the volume on the stereo to about 1 4 to 1 3 volume It may need to be slightly higher than when you listen to the radio Adjust the knob on the PA Portable for microphone sensitivity with the line on the gain knob pointing at the power indicator LED and start talking If you need it louder turn up the radio volume for the correct loudness Please note The knob on the front of the PA Portable is NOT a volume control it is a microphone sensitivity control It s there to make up for differences in microphones and how loud you talk Once you find the best gain setting all volume adjustments should be done by the radio volume The PA Portable also allows you to connect your ipod mp3 DVD or la2. ptop into the PA system so you can play music and talk at the same time Plug your ipod into the input on the front of the PA Portable and adjust the volume on your ipod to desired level in relationship to the voice on your PA Portable To ensure proper adhesion of the Velcro to the PA and to your dashboard quickly clean both surfaces with rubbing alcohol but allow time for it to completely evaporate before application Enjoy your PA system If you have any questions please give us a call 604 644 6386 or drop us a note at info ready2talk ca Box 16118 1199 Lynn Valley Rd Close North Vancouver B C Canada V7J 3S9 Ph 1 888 695 5351 info ready2talk ca www ready2talk ca
