WND WNC 900 Series WATER LEAK ALARM WITH REMOTE SENSOR INSTALLATION MANUAL GENERAL DESCRIPTION The 900 series water leak alarm is the perfect solution to protect your home form potential water flood damage by placing anywhere a potential water leak exists near or beneath sump pumps plumbing refrigerators dishwashers washing machines sinks water heaters toilets basements HVAC equipment and garages It relies on the electrical conductivity of water to change the resistance across the two contacts located at the base of the enclosure When there is enough water to bridge the contacts the resistance changes and triggers an alarm APPEARANCE Va BUZZER gt REMOTE SENSOR a INSTALLATION The sensor is located on the bottom of the water alarm so the water alarm can be placed directly on the floor with sensor compartment closed or the sensor can be detached from the sensor compartment and the sensor wires extended up to 6 feet to reach a remote location Adjust wires so contacts are flat against surface Note If mounting the sensor to a metal surface ensure the two metal of sensor do not contact the metal surface Note the water alarm is not waterproof If the alarm has been submerged in water or becomes wet INSTALL OR REPLACE BATTERY Remove the cover for the battery compartment FEATURES SYDC Battery 10 8 to 33VDC Power Easy and Fast Installation and Battery Replacement LED2.
