11. 33 Saving Incoming Messages Incoming messages are saved in the phone memory The phone memory can hold up to 20 messages When the phone memory is full the oldest read message is deleted when a new message is received If the phone memory becomes full of unread messages new messages are automatically saved on the SIM card Messages that are saved on the SIM card remain there until you delete them To save a message on the SIM card When you have read the message press YES Select Save and press YES Mobile Chat You can use the chat function to send and receive chat messages The chat function works in the same way as a chat on the Internet To start a chat session Scroll to Messages Yes Chat YES Start new YES Enter the recipient s phone number or recall it from the phone book by pressing Cv Write your chat message and press YES If you receive a new message while another chat session is ongoing the new message is saved in the Inbox in the Messages menu Text and Chat Messages 43 To suspend and resume a chat session You can suspend an ongoing chat session by pressing No twice and F appears in the display While a session is suspended you can use any of the other functions in your phone When a session is suspended you can scroll to Messages YES Chat yes In the chat menu you can choose to Resume the suspended session Save the session eStart new session with another person End

Chinese Input Chinese Input T66 has different input methods for entering Chinese characters Stroke Input Pinyin Input You can use these methods for example to input Chinese names and Chinese short messages Before You Start Chinese is the default language Stroke Input is the default input method If you want to select another language or input method before you start entering Chinese characters please refer to the following procedures To select a menu language Scroll to Settings YES Language YES Menu YES To select an input method Scroll to Settings YES Language Yes Input YES Switching between Chinese Input Methods In the Chinese editing mode you can select and switch quickly to another input method by pressing G2 Note You can also select and switch to another input method by pressing the Option key slightly General Instructions Regardless of which input method you choose your phone has a function to speed up the entry of Chinese characters Whenever you enter a stroke or a Pinyin letter a candidate row of the most frequently used characters containing that stroke or relating to that letter appears at the bottom of the display If the character you want is not displayed in the candidate row slide the Volume key downwards slightly until a new candidate row is displayed Continue sliding the Volume key downwards until the character you want is displayed Alternatively you can enter the ne
