3. r UE NESTBOX COMPANY LTY User Guide 7 Heater Extension Cable AZO Heater Extension Cable This is a mains sensor cable designed to extend the distance between the Bat Box and Temperature Controller of the Heated Bat Roost Box Fitting L 6 If you have not already done so unplug the cable to the Bat Box from the Temperature Controller Plug the male plug at the end of the a female socket at one end of the Heater Extension Cable Lock the 2 collars together by twisting them iM Plug the male plug at the other end of the Heater Extension Cable into the female socket on the Temperature Controller and lock in place by twisting the collar until it clicks Turn off the mains supply to the Heated Bat Roost Box cable to the Bat Box into the until they click Switch the Heated Bat Roost Box on and check that it works normally Weatherproof Cover for Connectors If the joint between the 2 connectors is to be situated outside it should be made L weatherproof as follows Disconnect the 2 connectors Pass one of the connectors fully through the Weatherproof Cover and out the other side Re connect the 2 connectors inan Position the Weatherproof Cover centrally a over the connectors Using hot air from a fan heater hair dryer or hot air blower applied ls to each end of the Weatherproof Cover shrink it so that it seals to the cable at each end Please note that the inner surfa
