3. ading IT S IMPERATIVE that the stripe has the shiny side uppermost when passing over pulley B and between rollers C Whereas the independent movement of roller C enables you to place the stripe in the correct position for striping the exact position will be automatically aligned when the film is in motion Now place your already edited film on to spindle D with sprocket holes nearest to the board and retain with nut Note that Super 8 films will have the sprocket holes AWAY from facia The film will leave its spool in an anti clockwise motion and will have its emulsion side uppermost Allow sufficient leader to thread both striper and projector approx 1 20 1 50m 4 to 5 feet Apply a small quantity of film cleaner on to cleaning pad F Thread film under roller E over roller F over roller G under guides H and I then by lifting arm J place film between arm and wheel K The film then continues between rollers C IT IS IMPERATIVE that the film is on top of the stripe when locked between rollers C and also under roller M The film is then twisted half a turn to bring sprocket holes into correct position for threading passed over pulley guide on feed arm and the projector is then threaded in the normal way Please note twisting is unnecessary for Super 8 Fill trough L approximately two thirds full with adhesive Now switch projector on running preferably at 1
