FRANKE HEATING TANK KITCHEN SYSTEMS Affix your data plate sticker here Retain for reference NB For use only with Franke 3 in 1 Kettle Tap INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing this product which has been manufactured to the highest quality and design standards This manual provides you with the appropriate instructions to install this product correctly and must be followed in all cases APPLICATION This product is a boiling water device intended for domestic kitchen use This Heating Tank T DATA PLATE is equipped with a copper vessel and is suitable for water a NY FRANKE pressure up to 6 bar Heating Tank dimensions L 550 x W 211 x D 142mm and requires a minimum 600mm standard cabinet BOX CONTENTS Check the contents of the box to ensure it is complete Before starting you should check the components yourself for damage If the mains lead is damaged it must be replaced at once by the manufacturer or their service agents This is to 1 Franke Heating Tank Unit 6 Plastic discharge T piece avoid any hazardous situations 2 15mm copper pipe 7 Flexible plastic hose 3 T coupling 8 Sealing Ring 4 Pressure Relief Valve and Tundish 9 Compression Reducing Ring 15 10mm 5 Data plate on Heating Tank SAFETY This product must be installed in accordance with the manual by a qualified installer ensuring local installation and safety regulations are observed C

Open the mains stopcock and turn the valve open on the inlet Pressure Relief Valve In order to fill the water heater you first fully open the Kettle Tap Flush the heater through for 3 minutes until clear water comes out of the tap After turning off the tap check the connections for leaks Installation Option A Installation Option B STEP 10 Connect the plug of the Heating Tank to a wall socket Now you can switch on the main electrical supply If necessary also switch on the electrical supply of the Heating Tank STEP 11 It will take approximately 20 minutes for the Tank to fully heat up Once heated flush the heater again for 3 minutes Flush the water heater 3 times within 1 hour before commissioning the heater into service ATTENTION If during the heating up period water is not discharged from the safety group after 4 minutes immediately switch off the power and open the boiling water tap to release the water pressure Consult the troubleshooting guide for the solution eer IMPORTANT DATA PLATE Affix the supplied data plate close to the unit or on this manual This will provide easy access to ascertain the model and serial number of the unit even if you decide to place the unit behind the plinth You have successfully completed the installation of your Franke Heating Tank SERVICE INSTRUC

TION Only a certified installer is allowed to perform the service activities on the Heating Tank Resetting the thermal cut out Unplug the power plug of the water heater before you start servicing Follow the sequence below to reset the Heating Tank A Remove the circular cap by using a screw driver B To reset the thermal cut out push the button behind the hole in the housing with a screw driver C Fit the circular cap into the hole Push the cap until it snaps into place Make sure the Heating Tank has been filled with water You can now restart the Heating Tank by restoring power NB For group installations contact the service agent 07 98 92 038 1 GUARANTEE This appliance is warranted by the manufacturer to be free from material and or manufacturing defects Warranty will be valid from the date of purchase shown on the invoice Heating Tank 2 year warranty excluding labour and call out charges Kettle Tap 2 year warranty excluding labour and call out charges This is a domestic appliance and the warranty will only be validated if it is used in a domestic environment Warranty claims handling Any warranty claims should be directed to the Franke service agents Tel 0808 165 0008 Email info frankefilterflow co uk Warranty terms and conditions 1 Proof of purchase showing date of purchase and model number of the appliance is to be submitted with the warranty claim 2 The appliance

7. etween 100 and 200 mg l Calcium Carbonate CaCO equivalent Refer to your local water supplier STEP 2 Fit the inlet Pressure Relief Valve to the T coupling by using copper tubing 15 mm The distance between the inlet Pressure Relief Valve and the boiling water heater must never exceed 1 5 metres Note the flow direction on the inlet Pressure Relief Valve STEP 3 Turn the valve on the inlet Pressure Relief Valve off Open the mains stopcock Check for leaks rectify as necessary Shut the mains stopcock off again after checking The expansion discharge of the Pressure Relief Valve must remain unobstructed and must always point downwards Mount in a frost free environment STEP 4 Determine the position for the waste T piece and fit it in the waste pipe oes ace ea LO A DET A SHATT HN Pressure UZD Relief Valve i i and Tundish UO as Discharge eee ATTENTION The waste T piece is to be positioned lower than the inlet Pressure Relief Valve and Tundish STEP 5 Connect the waste T piece to the inlet Pressure Relief Valve and Tundish using the flexible plastic hose The Tundish has a water trap in order to prevent odours from escaping from the waste pipe STEP 6 The Franke Heating Tank MUST be positioned horizontally Ensure that the tank is installed correctly follow
