21. 1 Cette connexion est g n ralement r alis e au niveau des c bles Pi ce d optimisation de phase tweeter Les enceintes CMS sont livr es avec des grilles pour le tweeter et le woofer Nous vous conseillons d enlever ces grilles l aide du crochet fourni dans l emballage Puis ins rez la pi ce de mise en phase sur le tweeter en position verticale Poussez la pi ce de mise en phase sur sa p riph rie avec pr caution afin d assurer son maintien voir ci dessous ON RR CMS Manuel d utilisation Positionnement Les enceintes CMS sont des enceintes de contr le de proximit et doivent tre positionn es une distance de l ordre de 40 cm 3 m tres de l auditeur orient es vers lui Elles peuvent parfaitement tre pos es sur le dessus d une console de mixage suspendues ou encore tre mises sur des pieds adapt s sachant que dans tous les cas de figure il est vivement recommand que la hauteur du tweeter soit assez proche de celle des oreilles de l auditeur Au besoin on peut parfaitement imaginer inverser la disposition normale des enceintes et positionner le tweeter en bas de fa on se rapprocher de cette r gle Les enceintes CMS pourront tre positionn es indiff remment verticalement ou horizontalement en fonction de l environnement de pr f rence orient es vers l auditeur fig D E F Une fois la disposition d finie vous b n

29. using the power cord supplied Audio input connections The audio signal input is to connect up to your own choice whether to the XLR inlet or RCA inlet The XLR inlet permits the connection of a source with symmetrical signal and uses standard wiring instructions Pin 1 Ground shield Pin 2 In phase voltage hot Pin 3 Out of phase voltage cold The RCA inlet permits the connection of a source with asymmetrical signal It s common to link the out of phase voltage Pin 3 to the ground Pin 1 This connection is generally made at wire level Tweeter phase plug The CMS speakers are delivered with grilles for woofer and tweeter In order to optimize the sound stage precision we advise you to remove the grilles thanks to the hook included in the packaging Then install the phase plug on the tweeter in the vertical position by gently push on the suburbs of the phase plug see below CMS User Manual a Positioning The CMS loudspeakers are near field monitoring loudspeakers and should be positioned at a distance between 40cm and 3 meters from the listener pointing towards the listening position They can be sitting on the console top hung or even placed on appropriate stands In any way it is recommended that the tweeter is at a height from the floor approximately equivalent to that of the listener s ears If required it can make sense to place the speakers u
