23. s Guide Chapter 3 Adding a Printer on Your Computer NPS 520 User s Guide Troubleshooting This chapter offers some suggestions to solve problems you might encounter The NPS 520 does not turn on None of the LEDs turn on Make sure you are using the power adaptor or cord included with the NPS 520 Make sure the power adaptor or cord is connected to the NPS 520 and plugged in to an appropriate power source Make sure the power source is turned on Disconnect and re connect the power adaptor or cord to the NPS 520 If the problem continues contact the vendor N a AO One of the LEDs does not behave as expected 5 Check the hardware connections See the Quick Start Guide or Section 1 6 on page 17 6 Inspect your cables for damage Contact the vendor to replace any damaged cables 7 Disconnect and re connect the power adaptor to the NPS 520 8 Ifthe problem continues contact the vendor forgot the IP address for the NPS 520 The default IP address is 192 168 1 6 If you set the NPS 520 to get the IP address from a DHCP server look up the IP address assigned to the NPS 520 in the DHCP server 3 Ifyou manually changed the IP address and have forgotten it open the ZyXEL utility from a computer connected to the NPS 520 Check the IP address in the TCP IP Setting screen 4 If this does not work you have to reset the device to its factory defaults See Section 1 5 on page 16 NPS 520 Use
