VPDL WM 8 VPDL PM Installation Manual a l I l S gt Ay L0_ VPDL WM VPDL PM 1 ASSEMBLY PARTS LIST ITEM PART NAME DESCRIPTION PLASTIC BUSING ANCHOR O 6 0mm MACHINE SCREW UNC 8 32 SCREW L 8mm PLATE GI 1 6t MOUNTING BASE PF 1 ALUMINIUM SCREW TAPPING M6 L 35 0mm PIPE 90 ANGLE TYPE Option PT 1 ALUMINIUM PIPE STRAIGHT TYPE Option PT 1 ALUMINIUM DOME ADAPTER PF 1 ALUMINIUM SEAL TAPE TEFLON SET SCREW M5 x 5 0mm O RING MACHINE SCREW M6 x 12 0mm L WRENCH AANNBWN KE 1 1 3 1 1 1 1 2 4 7 1 2 INSTALLATION 1 Wind Teflon tape around both ay MET threaded ends of the pipe or B about nii x20 for sealing If necessary use a silicone 9 SC 1 PT TAP j rubber sealant to seal the area where the 1 mount base and the pipe meet mb 2 Fit the pipe of which threads are covered bv Teflon tape into the mount base T gt 7 and turn unit it is securely fastened 6 9 Feed the cable through the dome adapter pipe 0 9 and then the l mounting base PFTAP C 9 9 8 N 4 Fasten the Dome to the dome adapter This is achieved by a Remove the bubble from the dome using the Hex keys provided with the dome b Feed the 750mm lead though the dome adapter 0 O Ring 4x C Using the O rings and Machine Screws Mounting Screw 4x provided attach the base of the dom2. e to the dome adapter It is important that the O rings are fitted to the inside of the Dome as they act as a Primary Water seal 5 Drill three mounting holes and if necessary a cable hole into the wall ceiling using the mounting plate as a template Mark 1 the holes on the wall using the mount base dome to ensure that the 3 x holes align and the bracket is pointing straight down oy 3 6 Insert the 3 x plastic bushings into the mounting holes on the wall ceiling Feed the cable through the hole in the wall and fasten the mounting base to the wall using the M6 L 35mm Screw Tapping EJ 8 Finally secure the mount base and TA dome adapter 8 to the pipe using M5 x 10 5 0mm Set Screws Pi ET e77 3 Complete View 7 1 PFTAP 1 PT TAP j i fn ZD ee Ce ee S Nf J 1 PF TAP a i9 G 5 Fitting to a corner mount bracket If fitting the VPD WM to a corner mount bracket we recommend you seal the exposed end of the pipe with silicon rubber NORBAIN SD LTD 210 Wharfedale Road Winnersh Triangle Wokingham Berkshire RG41 5TP
