1. Assembly Instructions Paige Complete Pendant PXS222 WARNING BE SURE TO SHUT OFF POWER AT THE MAIN FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER BOX BEFORE INSTALLING OR SERVICING THIS FIXTURE NOTE 1 Before installing consult local electrical codes for wiring and grounding requirements 2 READ AND SAVE THIS INSTRUCTION 1 Attach nipple a to the mounting strap then secure it with a washer and hex nut 2 Attach the mounting strap to the outlet box by using two mounting screws 3 Place the shade to the lower fixture in position Aligning holes attach the spider of the shade to the holder of the lower fixture secure the shade with two set screws Then attach the arm set to the lower fixture by securing the upper fixture onto nipple b 4 Take one loop lock twist the locking tube open then hook onto the loop and one end of the chain Close back the locking tube of the loop lock 5 Choose the length of the chain you need then take another loop lock twist the locking tube open hook onto another end of the chain and top loop Close back the locking tube of the loop lock 6 Weave the cord and the fixture grounding wire through the chain and the canopy 7 Measure about 8 of the cord A from the top of the canopy then cut off the unnecessary cord 8 Slit the cord apart into two wires C about 4 from the top of the cord Then use a knife to peel off the insulation of the two wires at about 5 8 length B from the top of the wires to e2. ower Fixture
3. xpose the copper for wiring See Fig 1 9 Pull out the outlet wires and the house grounding wire from the outlet box Make wire connections using the wire nuts The smooth wire marked from the fixture to the black wire from the power source The ridged wire unmarked from the fixture to the white wire from the power source Attach the fixture grounding wire to the mounting strap with the green grounding screw Then connect it to the house grounding wire with a wire nut Carefully tuck the wires back into the outlet box 10 Attach the canopy to the mounting strap by inserting the top loop then secure it with the collar 11 Attach the candle tubes onto the sockets then install bulbs not included See relamping label at socket area or packaging for maximum allowed wattage 12 Turn on the power at the main fuse or circuit breaker box la 5 8 A 8 Smooth Wire ee ee ee wen Coe a aif eerie aC Outlet Box House Grounding Wire gt Wire Nut Mounting Strap Green Grounding Screw Mounting Screw Nipple a Top Loop Collar Loop Lock Fixture Grounding Wire Chain Loop Lock Fixture Wire Loop Upper Fixture 1 fo 5 4 f e a a alae aac an A al faa aint 1 ul 1 tN Nabe 4 WA th Se oe eee IN bo SE h er Candle Tube e Socket L
