1. 763 Deluxe Five Shelf f Assembly Instructions 1 Identify the pieces 1 Smail Shelf 4 1 2 x 19 1 piece lkal a e 2 Upper Long Shelf 4 1 2 x 40 long 2 pcs fee ee 3t Lower Short Shelf 6 x 32 1 piece lt eE ine 4 Bottom Long Shelf 6 x 40 1 piece 5 Vertical Sides 3 1 4 x 60 2 pieces 2 Assemble the shelf on a protected surface such as a carpeted floor The notches on the back edge of the horizontal shelves fit over _ the notches in the front edges of the vertical sides 3 Place the vertical sides with the open notches in the up position The back edge of the side pieces have a keyhole mounting slot that needs to be oriented with the narrow portion of the keyhole slot of each piece pointing to the top of the shelf unit The open notches on the vertical side pieces should line up to receive the horizontal shelves Either vertical side may be used as the right or as the left to give a varied layout 4 The shelves are all reversible left to right and may be assembled into any of the five locations by aligning the open notches on the back edge of the shelf with the open notches on the front edge of the vertical side pieces Carefully slide each shelf notch down over the vertical side piece notches Be very careful to not scuff up the finish Repeat this step for the other shelves Refer to the photo for the orientation of the shelves or use your own configuration fora different look Ins2. down until the top of the keyhole slot rests on the screw You may need to tighten or loosen the screws to allow the shelf to fit snug against the wall Cleaning and care Clean with any household furniture cleaner and a clean soft cloth Wipe and dry any water spills right away Moisture left on the finish may leave a discolored spot Woodform Inc recommends installation only by qualified persons Woodform Inc disclaims liability for any consequential or incidental damage arising from the installation and or use of this product
3. tallation Instructions l Determine the desired mounting location 2 Find the wall studs nearest to your end mounting location If you are not able to screw into a wall stud at each keyhole slot location consult your local hardware store for the proper hardware type for your particular wall type 3 Hold the assembled shelf at the desired position making sure the horizontal shelves are level and make a pencil mark at the top of each vertical side piece Then remove the shelf 4 Measure the distance from the top of each vertical side piece to the top of the keyhole slot in the back of each vertical side 5 Measure the same distance down from your marks on the wall Make sure the measurement from the left side piece is transferred to the wall for the left side This will be your screw height 6 Measure the distance from the center of one keyhole slot to the center of the other keyhole slot on the back shelf Be very accurate 7 Mark these keyhole spaces on the wall on the marks made in step 5 above This will give your exact screw locations on the wall Again be very accurate 8 If screwing into wall studs screw the long screws provided into the wall as located If not screwing into wall studs use the hardware from your local hardware store Leave approximately 1 2 from the wall to the back of the screw head 9 Mount the assembled shelf by fitting the lower hole of the keyhole slot over the screw head and sliding
