12. confirm the setting Note M ake sure you leave the remote pointing at the TV to ensure it turns off the TV at the time you set LEARNING Your UR24A Learning SuperRemote has the codes for most TVs VC Rs etc in its code library However if the code for your particular device is notfound in the library you can learn these codes from your existing remote if you find a code from the tables in this manual that almost matches your device buta few buttons are missing you can learn just those buttons 1 Point your existing remote at the SuperRemote with a distance of about 2 inches between the remotes 2 Press and hold SETUP until the LED indicator lights steadily Release the Setup button 4 b e 3 Press the mode button that matches i the equipment you want to learn The 5 LED blinks once 1 4 Press and release the LEARN button The LED blinks once 5 Press and release the button on the SuperRemote that you want to teach The LED blinks once Press shift first to learn shifted function See notes on pages 30 and 31 6 Press the button on your existing Um E remote that you wantto learn Hold the button until the LED on the UR24A SuperRemote blinks off 7 Repeatsteps 5 and 6 for each button you wantto learn 8 W hen you ve finished learning all the keys press EN TER Notes
