TZIE VISION QUAD 4 Monitors in 19 RACK MOUNT USER GUIDE Model LCD 400x4 1319 Dexter Ave N Ste 020 Seattle WA 98109 Tel 206 623 6000 Fax 206 623 6609 sales totevision com www totevision com Before using your monitor be sure to read this manual carefully In case of any problems on installation contact Tote Vision at 206 623 6000 There are no user serviceable parts inside your monitors Precautions Handling This microprocessor controlled color monitor uses a TFT Thin Film transistor and is made with fragile glass panel The monitor should be handled with care and should not be exposed to impact or shock Do not touch the screen or rub it with hard cloth or stiff objects as it is easily scratched Cleaning The display area is highly prone to scratching Do not use ketone type material e g acetone ethyl alcohol toluene ethyl acid or methyl chloride to clean the panel All of these can cause severe damage to the panel The recommendable cleaners are water Iso Prophyl Alchol or Hexane Do not let water or oil penetrate the monitor Storage Do not expose the monitor to temperature higher than 60 140 F degree or humidity higher than 85 without condensation Store in dark places and away from direct sunlight and ultra violet radiation When opening the box make sure to check that all the following contents are included Rack Mount QUAD 4 TFT LCD Monitor 1 pc2. DC Power Supply Adapter 1 pc Power Cable 1 pc User Manual 1 pc Installation Totevision model LCD 400x4 consists of four 4 high resolution TFT LCD monitors with a 90 degrees tilting feature and its height is only 2 rack units 3 5 Each monitor has it s own controls for brightness color tint contrast and power Each monitor has Video IN and loop out BNC connector self powered 3 color tally system and auto recognition of NTSC or PAL video format Operation of the unit is easy however please read the following before starting 1 Install the unit in a 19 rack with four screws VIDEO 4 VIDEO 3 Ho O OO JIIIIITII I 2 Each monitor screen comes with a protective plastic film that should be removed with careful lifting from the corner 3 LCD 400x4 is using a DC12V 2 5A regulated power supply Be sure that these specifications are met when using a replacement adapter The center pin on the plug should be POSITIVE 4 The video input of the monitor is 75 Ohm self terminated The loop out uses active components and is always active as long as power is supplied v Each screen recognizes NTSC or PAL signal automatically Each screen is independently controlled allowing the user to use a PAL signal on one screen and an NTSC signal on the other 6 The Tally system on the LCD 400x4 is accessed via DB 15 connector on the back of the unit The system works by closing the contacts between a ground pin a
