NENT Sheers PRESS AUTOMATIC REGULAR CYCLE Bath Towels Mixed Loads Cotton Work Clothes HEAVY Cotton Knits Cotton Sheets Dresses and NORMAL Dress Shirts Sheer and Very Lightweight Cottons Items labeled Dry DELICATE With Low Heat The suggested timer settings are approximate Check garment labels for proper dryer settings At first set indicator toward cent of drying zone You may find you will get better results for your loads by setting the indicator to either side Turn timer knob to a lower setting clockwise for less drying or to a higher counterclockwise for more drying Page 3 ABOUT YOUR AUTOMATIC CYCLES The timer knob does not advance at an even pace in the automatic cycles as it does in the time cycle For instance you may notice the timer knob remains in the same po sition for 15 minutes before it begins to move THE TIMER IS NOT MALFUNCTIONING This only means it took 15 minutes for the load io become dry enough to start advancing the timer knob The length of time it takes for the timer knob to begin advancing de pends on the type and size of load being dried The following are amples of settings used in the various automatic cycles max Use this setting when drying rela tively full loads of rugs cotton backed cotton mattress pads quilts and other heavy cottons NORMAL Use this setting for cotton sheets dresses and skirts DELICAT

Speed Queen AUTOMATIC DRYER OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Speed Queen Co Ripon WI 54971 Models HE5003 and HG5009 Please read instructions before using dryer Before using dryer for the first time wash out the inside of the dryer cylinder with a sudsy cloth then wipe dry Install this dryer according to the in stallation instructions KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FU TURE REFERENCE TO DRY CLOTHES CLEAN LINT FILTER before each use LOAD DRYER Open dryer door Shake out laundry and place in dryer 3 CLOSE DOOR Dryer will not erate with door open SELECT DRYING TEMPERATURE The FABRIC switch controls the drying temperature SELECT TIMER SETTING in cycle desired AUTOMATIC REGULAR TIME or PERMANENT PRESS These cycles control the drying time START DRYER Press the PUSH TO START button TO STOP DRYER AT ANY TIME Open dryer door turn timer knob to OFF position TO RESTART DRYE Close door reset timer if necessary and PUSH TO START button Speed Queen Dryers are designed so they will not operate if the door is open Page 1 ABOUT YOUR SPEED QUEEN DRYER AUTOMATIC CYCLES The AUTOMATIC REGULAR cycle is designed to dry large and aver age size loads of similar weight fabrics When properly set for the load the dryer will determine the exact length of drying time shut the heat off when the clot
