If you have set up your phone for use with a synchronization service account you can synchronize your phone contacts with the account contacts When you create or import contacts you are asked to select if you want to synchronize the newly created or imported contacts with the account or if you only want to use them in the phone Phone contact See Synchronizing on page 58 To view your contacts From the Home screen tap j to open the Phonebook application If you have not set up your phone for synchronization with a web service or imported SIM contacts you can choose to do so the first time you open the Phonebook application If you want to use the contacts you import from your SIM memory card with a synchronization service you need to set up the synchronization with the service before you import the contacts from the SIM memory card Getting contacts into your phone You can get existing contact information into your phone in several different ways You can use a synchronization service such as Sony Ericsson Sync or Google Sync This way you can manage your contacts both directly in the phone or by using a computer If you want to use contacts with a synchronization account later but you want to transfer the contacts using any of the methods below make sure you set up the synchronization before you transfer the contacts to your phone You can import contacts from a SIM card Not all information may be possible to transfer fro
