5. er Guide 9 SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO 12 MONTH LIMITED WARRANTY Sirius Satellite Radio Inc the Company warrants to the original retail purchaser of this product that should this product or any part thereof under normal use and conditions be proven defective in material or workmanship within 12 months from the date of original purchase such defect s will be repaired or replaced with new or reconditioned product at the Company s option without charge for parts and repair labor To obtain repair or replacement within the terms of this Warranty the product is to be delivered with proof of warranty coverage e g dated bill of sale specification of defect s transportation prepaid to the location shown below under WARRANTY RETURN This Warranty does not extend to the elimination of externally generated static or noise to correction of antenna problems to costs incurred for installation removal or reinstallation of the product or to damage to tapes compact discs speakers accessories or vehicle electrical systems This Warranty does not apply to any product or part thereof which in the opinion of the Company has suffered or been damaged through alteration improper installation mishandling misuse neglect accident or by removal or defacement of the factory serial number bar code label s THE EXTENT OF THE COMPANY S LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT PROVIDED ABOVE AND IN NO EVENT

7. the Receiver User Guide for more information on configuring the FM transmitter Tune your car s radio to the appropriate frequency to listen to the Receiver Sportster SP C2 User Guide SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO Installation in a Vehicle Mounting the Antenna 1 Temporarily plug the antenna into the 4 Temporarily plug the Car Power Adapter into the ANT connector on the back of the cradle cigarette lighter until it is firmly seated 5 Make sure the lock lever on the back of the cradle is in the UNLOCK position Slide the Receiver all the way into the cradle so that the connector at the bottom of the unit makes proper contact in the cradle Move the BEN lock lever to the LOCK position Press and hold the e EG i POWER button to turn the Receiver on w 6 If your Receiver has been properly connected and the antenna is receiving the SIRIUS signal you will hear N audio If you do not hear audio and the display shows e Acquiring Signal reposition the antenna until the message goes away and you hear audio See Antenna Signal on page 21 of the Receiver manual 2 Find a location on a metal surface of your to use the ANTENNA SIGNAL screen to aim the vehicle at least 12 x 12 and at least 6 antenna from a window Make sure the vehicle is not in garage or somewhere 3 The antenna s powerful magnet will secure the satellite signal could be blocked it to the metal surface Before routing the Best recep
