5. ind sirables Le syst me antichocs la robuste cartouche la grille r sistan te aux d formations et le corps moul permettent au BG1 1 de conserver son niveau de performances m me dans les environnements les plus rigoureux Les applica tions typiques du BG1 1 sont le captage vocal et instru mental de pr s la sonorisation et le Karaoke R GLES G N RALES D UTILISATION DU MICROPHONE 1 Pour un rapport signal bruit optimum placer le micro phone le plus pr s possible de la source sonore am plifier 2 Pour un gain avant Larsen et une isolation maximum diriger le microphone vers la source sonore l op pos des sources de bruits ind sirables voir la figure 1 Le BG1 1 est un micro courbe de directivit car dio de le type le plus sensible aux sons mis directe ment devant le microphone et ne captant qu un mini mum des bruits provenant de l arri re 3 Pour la reproduction la plus fid le n utiliser qu un seul microphone par source sonore et le plus petit nombre possible de microphones 4 Pour une isolation maximum veiller ce que la distan ce entre les micros soit au moins gale trois fois la distance de chaque micro sa source sonore 5 Pour obtenir d avantage de basses placer le micro phone le plus pr s possible de la source sonore voir la figure 2 Ce ph nom ne appel effet de proximit peut tre utilis pour obtenir un son plus riche parti culi rement dans les p

12. ce the microphone as close as practical to the desired sound source 2 For the best gain before feedback and isolation from undesired background noise aim the microphone to ward the sound source and away from undesired sound sources see Figure 1 The BG1 1 features a cardioid polar pattern which is most sensitive to sound directly in front of the microphone and least sensitive to sound directly behind the microphone 3 For the purest reproduction of sound use no more than one microphone per sound source and use the fewest number of microphones necessary for the application 4 For maximum isolation keep the distance between mi crophones at least three times the distance from each source to its microphone 5 Work close to the microphone for extra bass response see Figure 2 This phenomenon is known as proxim ity effect and can be used to achieve a fuller sound es pecially for vocals during soft passages where extra emphasis is needed For instruments proximity effect can be used to change bass output without using tone controls 6 Placing the microphone too close to acoustically reflec tive smooth hard surfaces will result in a poor frequen cy response and will increase the chances for feed back To minimize this effect place microphones as far as possible from acoustically reflective surfaces 7 Add an external windscreen when using the micro phone outdoors to reduce wind noise The A58WS windscreen is ava
