1. REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS REPLACING THE FILTER Under normal usage the HEPAFilter willrequire replacement once every three 3 months however vacuuming large amounts of extremely fine dust powder or similar material over along period of time may decrease airflow performance through the filter If this occurs it may become necessary to replace the HEPAFilter more often Only use genuine Euro Pro replacement filters Filter Cover 1 Press inthe locking tabs at points 1 CES and pull the filter cover away from the vacuum cleaner 2 Remove the HEPAfilter Caution e Do notattempt to wash the HEPATfilter Always replace the old filter with a new one Insert a new HEPAfilter with the seal to the inside of the vacuum cleaner Reattach the filter cover Taa Caution e Be sure that seal on the HEPAfilter is inserted towards the inside of the vacuum cleaner e The filter cover should be correctly oriented when it is reattached Do not reattach it upside down D SD CLEANING THE SUB FILTER Clean the sub filter when it becomes dirty Remove the dust compartment refer to page 8 Remove the air inlet cover 2 Remove the sub filter from the vacuum cleaner 3 Gently clean the sub filter with water Make sure that itis completely dry and then re install it into the vacuum cleaner Replace the air inlet cover andthe dust compartment Caution Do not wash the sub filterin awashing machine and donot

Press the release lever to open the Turn the duster handle several times in the trapdoor direction shown to empty the dust compartment Release Lever Trapdoor Reattaching the Dust Compartment Close the trapdoor and insert the projection on the Push the dust compartment into dust compartment into the groove onthe main body the main body as shown to reattach Projection Groove CLEANING THE FILTERS 1 Remove the dust compartment refer to page 9 Set the dust compartmentto the parallel position Open the trapdoor then push the T EE E release button E and pull outthe main filter The main filter and prefilter willbe removed atthe same time Caution Do not push the release button E at the upright position As this may drop or damage the main filter and prefilter Clean the main filter and prefilter with a soft bristled brush not included and rinse with cold water Allow both items to dry completely for 24 hours Caution e Do notuse ahard bristled brush to clean filters This may result in damage to the filters e Do notattempt to dry witha hairdryer or by placing ina clothes dryer Hot air may cause the filters to warp To maintain optimum suction power the dust filter fins should be kept clean of dirt Clean the filter fins free of dirt with the forked end of cleaning utensil as shown Cleaning

Utensil Reattaching the filters 1 Insert the main filter into the Hold onto the main filter and insert into prefilter as shown the dustcompartment Align the ribs ofthe main filter to match the shape of the opening inthe dust Prefilter compartment and press firmly to insert Dust Compartment Main Filter 3 Close the trapdoor NOTE We recommend replacing the main filter every three 3 to six 6 months depending on the amount of use 10 CLEARING BLOCKAGES AND CLEANING THE AGITATOR ASSEMBLY Caution Be sure to turn the ON OFF switch tothe OFF position and disconnect the powercord fromthe wall outlet before clearing any blockages in the suction hose and cleaning the agitator assembly Cleaning blockages Cleaning blockages in the suction hose A B Suction Hose A 1 Set the vacuum cleaner to the upright position ec Remove the hose cuff from the suction inlet and then remove any blockages from the hose Reattach the hose cuff to the suction inlet and then operate the vacuum cleaner to check that the blockage has been properly cleared lf the hose is still blocked the suction force will be weak Cleaning blockages inthe nozzle head 1 Remove the bottom plate referto page 14 2 Remove any blockages fromthe nozzle head Reattach the bottom plate to the nozzle head and then operate the vacuum cleaner to check that the blockage has been properly cleared Ifthe nozzle head is still blocked

TIONS Caution Be sure to turn the ON OFF switch to the OFF position and disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet before replacing any of the parts below REPLACING THE FLAT BELT 1 Remove the bottom plate refer to page 14 2 Lift out the agitator assembly and then remove the flat belt from the motor shaft and the agitator pulley Motor Shaft Flat Belt Place a new flat belt onto the motor shaft and pulley NA Motor Shaft S AN Flat Belt Flat Belt Pulley Place the agitator assembly into the grooves in the nozzle head making sure thatthe new flat belt slides securely into the guide Bearing Holder G CA N N Re Install the flat beltso thatit has no twists init and so that all components Nozzle Head turn smoothly Reattach the bottom plate refer to page 14 Baa A S Groove 13 REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS REMOVING THE BOTTOM PLATE Set the vacuum cleaner to the parallel position and turn it over Pull here Slide the latch in the direction Latch Press of the arrow Remove the bottom plate by pulling N 4 the tabs as illustrated 1 J Bottom Plate Insert the projection onthe bottom plate 2 Push the bottom plate as shown into the groove onthe nozzle housing res and setthe bottom plate in place S 3 Slide the latch in the direction shown Turn the vacuum overand place in the upright position
