9. 104 E Viewing on a Television You can view files you have taken on a TV screen The camera displays everything on the TV screen just as it would on the LCD monitor To use your television for viewing connect your camera to the television with the AV cable that came with your camera To view files on a television follow the steps below 1 Securely connect the AV cable Video input terminal yellow to the Video In terminal on the television e Connect the white plug of the AV cable to the audio input terminal white of O the TV unit and the yellow plug to the video input terminal yellow pP Audio input terminal white Make sure that the camera is off Turn the terminal cover knob of the camera in the direction of the arrow to open the cover Securely connect the AV cable to the AV output terminal on the camera Set the television to Video mode Set the input to Video e For details see the documentation that came with the television G Press the power button or the gt Playback button for more than one second to turn the camera on CANO 1 E E e When the AV cable is connected to the camera the LCD monitor and the speaker output turn off e Before opening or closing the battery card cover or terminal cover be sure to remove any water sand or mud adhering to the camera and avoid opening and closing the cover in places where such contaminants may get inside the camera e You can
