TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE POSSIBLE CAUSE S CORRECTIVE ACTION Tool will not run or runs Grit in tool tool gummed up Clean the air motor inside the tool with WD 40 slowly see user maintenance section No oil in tool Add 4 6 drops of air tool oil into the air inlet of the tool see user maintenance section Low air pressure Adjust compressor regulator to 90 PSI Air hose leaks Tighten and seal hose fittings with Teflon tape if leaks are found Pressure drops Do not use excessive couplings between hoses 5 ENG LIMITED WARRANTY ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY Powermate Corporation the Company warrants that for a period of twelve 12 months from the date of purchase it will replace or repair free of charge for the original retail purchaser only any part or parts manufactured by the Company found upon examination by the Company or its assigned representa tives to be defective in material or workmanship or both All transportation charges for parts submitted for replace ment or repair under this warranty must be borne by the original retail purchaser This is the exclusive remedy under this warranty Failure by the original retail purchaser to install maintain and operate said equipment in accordance with good indus try practices or failure to comply with the specific recommendations of the Company set forth in the owner s manu al shall render this warranty null and void The Comp2. K Spray Gon Po fermo HE merse UN CUECA CCS OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS To begin using the tool 2 1 As a standard practice drain water from the air compressor tank and air lines prior to use each day reference your compressor operators manual for detailed instructions Quickchange chisel retainer Exhaust port 2 Install a 1 4 NPT male connector into the air inlet port on the tool see Figure 2 Note Use Teflon Tape on all threaded connections Trigger 3 Turn on the air compressor and allow it to build up pressure 4 Adjust the air compressor s regulator or the supply line Air inlet port regulator to 90 PSI Teflon tape Male connector 5 Assemble the selected chisel to the air hammer see Figure 3 a Insert the selected chisel into the quick change chisel retainer see A b Pull back the quick change chisel retainer and push in the chisel see B c Release the retainer to lock the chisel into place see C Note the chisels are normal wear items and should be replaced when worn Figure 3 NEA i the chisel is not securely held in place by the quick change chisel retainer the chisel may come loose and cause severe personal injury 6 Connect the tool to the air hose quick coupler NOTE It is recommended that a whip hose with a swivel not included be used to prevent twisting kinking and excessive wear to the air hose ref item F in figure 1 for recommended connections

9. 7 Hold the air hammer in an operating position against the work with chisel properly secured in place before depressing the trigger Squeeze the trigger gently as required to increase or decrease air hammer speed Release trigger to stop tool NENN chisel MUST be held firmly against the work surface before depressing the air hammer trigger If the tool is not properly positioned against the work and or the chisel is not properly secured in the tool before the trigger is depressed damage to the tool and or the retainer may result Regulate the speed of the air hammer to control the chisel from being driven from the cylinder Internal damage will result if the piston strikes the cylinder wall Remove chisel from tool when not in use 4 ENG OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS continued 8 To change chisels see Figure 3 a Pull back the quick change chisel retainer and push in the chisel see B Remove the chisel C Insert the new chisel into the quick change chisel retainer see A d Pull back the quick change chisel retainer and push in the chisel see B e Release the retainer to lock the chisel into place see C USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS Air Motor Lubrication To maintain the maximum performance of the air tool it must be lubricated each time it is used Dust dirt rust and oil residue will build up inside the tool and reduce the performance An in line oiler is recommended for proper automatic tool lubricati

16. d tre paresseux m me apr s la lubrification il pourrait s av rer n cessaire de nettoyer les pi ces internes Nettoyage D branchez l outil pneumatique de l alimentation d air et retirez le burin du porte burin Versez ou vaporisez une bonne quantit de WD 40MD dans l orifice d admission d air en tenant la g chette enfonc e Branchez l outil l alimentation d air couvrez l vent d chappement l aide d un chiffon et faites fonctionner l outil pendant environ 30 secondes Suivez les instructions de lubrification du moteur pneumatique ci dessus apr s avoir termin le net toyage afin de lubrifier l outil de nouveau Apr s la lubrification ou le nettoyage de l outil couvrez l orifice d chappement d une serviette et faites fonctionner l outil pendant quelques secondes pour liminer de fa on s curitaire l exc dent d huile Nettoyez la poign e et la surface de l outil de tout r sidu d huile N gliger de couvrir l orifice d chappement ou de nettoyer l outil pourrait tre la cause de blessures graves Remarque Gardez la serviette l cart des pi ces mobiles GUIDE DE DEPANNAGE CAUSES POSSIBLES MESURE CORRECTIVE L outil ne tourne pas Particules dans l outil outil Nettoyer le moteur pneumatique l int rieur de l outil ou tourne lentement encrass l aide de WD 40 voir la section Entretien par l utilisa teur L outil manque d huile Ajouter de 4 6 gouttes d huile pour moteur pneuma
