Adding New Songs If you want to add more songs to an existing playlist the steps are the same for adding songs into a newly created playlist Press OK button to mark the song and save it as usual Removing Songs If you want to remove a song from the playlist the display will show you all the songs in your selected playlist Next select a song and the display will ask for your confirmation to remove that song Press left key to go back and select Yes to remove the song or No to abort Saving the Playlist The final step for playlist editing is to save the changes Whether you have added new songs to the playlist or remove existing ones you could press left key to go back and the PD 1000 will ask for your confirmation to save the edited playlist Select Yes to save the changes or No to abort Removing a Playlist To remove an entire playlist select Delete Playlist and then press the OK button You will be shown a list of playlists Select the playlist you want to remove and press the OK button you will be asked for your confirmation to remove the playlist Select Yes to remove the playlist or No to abort Renaming your Playlist Select Rename Playlist and then press the OK button You will be shown a list of playlists you created before Select the one that you want to rename and press the OK button you will access the same display that you have used to name your new pl

14. ase Every time you have modified the music contents in the Jukebox it is necessary to update the database once The Jukebox will automatically request you to perform this function after you unplugged the PD 1000 from the USB cable Alternatively you can select Update DB in the Organize Sub menu and press the OK button to begin the task You will be asked for your confirmation to update the database Select Yes to proceed or No to abort Updatemusilb PROCESSING number of song updated 000 Plases Wait May take few mins The Jukebox may take a few minutes to update the database Saving Music Lib 36 Database Update Vs Rebuild Database Settings 37 Updated Database will compare the existing songs in HD with the Mu sic Library database and only the difference between the two will be processed On the other hand Rebuild Database will generate a new Music Library according to songin HD and replace the old one directly In general Update Database offers you a faster way to update the Music Library In case there is significant difference in HD content after connecting USB Rebuild Database is a more efficient mean to reflect your changes in the Music Library An extreme example is that you erase all the songs in HD and loaded a completely new set of songs then updating the database by Rebuild Da tabase option will be faster th

16. ble shooting I cannot connect the Jukebox with my computer Please check your OS version of your PC if it is Window 98 SE you need to install a driver Window 98 is not supported How to create a playlist in my Jukebox Access the Organize Sub menu and you can create your own playlist by selecting and adding songs via the Music Library For details please refer to Advance Feature Section The transfer rate from my computer to my Jukebox is very slow it seems it is not an USB 2 0 Hi speed USB 2 0 transfer requires PC support please check if your PC supportsUSB2 0 The Backlight does not turn on Check if the backlight function has been disabled in the system setting Backlight disabling is designed for the power saving purpose I changed a song s ID3 tag content and do database update However the song information does not update accordingly Database update only check song with different filename Since changing the ID3 tag does not affect the filename Database update option does not reflect the changes In order to reflect those changes please use Rebuild Database option
