1. i i Manitowoc ICE MACHINES amp REACH INS K00159 ADAPTER KIT Installation Instructions The K00159 kit is used for installing two P 0520 ice machines on a Manitowoc S 970 or a C 970 bin Installation bin must be level before starting A Place adapter on bin as shown Using the adapter as a template drill three 5 32 4 mm holes 500 12 7 mm deep maximum in the back of the bin Warning Do not drill through interior liner Attach with 3 10 24 x 500 screws provided B Apply foam tape to the edge of the adapter openings as shown in the A position Note It is recommended to RTV intersections and along front inside edge of foam tape see drawing to prevent water tracking C Place the ice machines on the adapter Secure them to the adapter with the 4 machine screws provided Assemble the support bracket between the two ice machines with flange on bracket flush with front of ice machine Install top covers D Assemble trim panel by hooking it over the top of the support bracket flange Fasten bottom of panel to the ice machines by using the 2 screws holding the bottom brackets on 3 Refer to ice machine installation manual for ice machine installation procedures Ne Manitowoc Ice Inc 2110 South 26 Street P O Box 1720 Manitowoc WI 54221 1720 USA 8011513 Telephone 920 682 0161 Fax Sales 920 683 7589 Service Parts 920 683 7585 Other 920 683 7879 6 2 98
