LIGHTOLIER Instruction Sheet Number IS D M RO 1 Page 1 of 1 Installation of LED Marker Lighting Systems Read and understand these instructions before installing luminaire This luminaire is intended for installation in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local regulations To assure full compliance with local codes and regulations check with your local electrical inspector before installation To prevent electrical shock turn off electricity at fuse box before proceeding Retain these instructions for maintenance reference Note This instruction sheet covers several luminaire types and styles Although the illustration may not depict the product exactly the installation remains the same 1 Remove 7 8 diameter KNOCK OUT from top of J BOX supplied with luminaire FIG 1 2 Remove J BOX COVER by removing SCREWS on either side 3 Bring SUPPLY CONDUIT by others to J BOX and secure in place with J BOX appropriate connector by others Note A minimum of 6 of supply wire is required in J BOX for proper installation FIG 2 4 Replace J BOX COVER 5 Insert J BOX into WALL making certain RETAINING TABS are in position shown FIG 2 J BOX can be mounted as shown or in a downward position Recommended cut out size is 2 X 2 3 8 note luminaires are for WALL FIG 1 MOUNTING ONLY 6 Swing J BOX through cut out as shown and screw down J BOX RETAINING SCREWS FIG 2 amp 3 Tighten screws until J BOX is ti
3. ght against WALL FIG 3 7 While supporting LED ASSEMBLY Make electrical connections Black lead to hot Black supply lead White lead to neutral White supply lead copper ground lead to supply ground lead Make connections with WIRE NUTS FIG 4 SRE EE ONDE 8 Once connections have been made push connections into J BOX and insert LED 2 ASSEMBLY into J BOX FIG 5 9 Screw LENS MOUNTING PLATE to LED ASSEMBLY and J BOX mounting holes with screws provided Screw 6 32 x 1 4 SCREWS into side holes of LENS MOUNTING PLATE and 6 32 x 1 2 SCREWS into top and bottom Make sure NOTCH at top of LENS MOUNTING PLATE is positioned upward as shown when mounted FIG 6 10 Assemble LENS to LENS MOUNTING PLATE by angling LENS upward and aie aa ee hook TAB of LENS into NOTCH of LENS MOUNTING PLATE Once LENS is set FIG 2 into NOTCH of LENS MOUNTING PLATE rotate LENS down so that it sits flush against WALL Secure in position by tightening SET SCREW FIG 7 J BOX KNOCK OUT SUPPLY NEUTRAL SUPPLY HOT WIRE NUT WHITE LEAD BLACK LEAD LED SUPPLY GROUND CEDASSEMBLY ASSEMBLY FIG 4 COPPER GROUND FIG 5 LEAD WALL 4 6 32 X 1 2 NOTCH A SCREWS Woren 6 32 X 1 4 AZ SCREWS i eo i f J BOX RETAINING x SCREWS SET net a WALL SCREW r Lens j B LENE MOUNTING Hes MOUNTING PLATE set screw Z PL FIG 6 FIG 7 631 Airport Road Fall River MA 02720 508 679 8131 Fax
