11. ing screw from the rear of the fan through the hole in the stand leg as shown 6 Align the fan control box with the holding screw 7 Tighten the holding screw by hand Do not over tighten 8 Plug the cord set into a 120 volt outlet A WARNING Be sure that the plug fits tightly into outlet When plugs fit loosely into receptacles they may slip partially or completely out of the receptacle with only the slight movement of the attached cord Receptacles in this condition may overheat and pose a serious fire hazard if covered by a curtain or drape the fire hazard is even greater 9 Turn the Fan on by selecting the desired speed with the Power Knob on the side of the Fan O Off 3 High 2 Medium 1 Low 10 To adjust the vertical angle tilt the Fan body forward or backward to the desired position QUICKMOUNT SYSTEM Your fan may be wall mounted using the new QuickMount bracket supplied with your fan Figures 2 and 3 wall WALL BRACKET MOUNTING 1 Choose a mounting location which will allow installation of hardware not supplied directly into wall studs or adequate structural support 2 Using the wall bracket as a template mark the hole locations on the wall after leveling the bracket 3 Fasten wall bracket to mounting surface using 4 appropriately sized fasteners Drill pilot holes as necessary See Figure 2 CAUTION Check for electrical and or gas lines before installing the wall bracket HAN
