3. i4 KICKER SS1200 SS1000 Full Range Enclosure Systems Congratulations You have just purchased the latest in full range soeaker enclo sures to carry the famous KICKER name Your KICKER speakers were designed and engineered by the same team which created many other international award winning KICKER components like the Solo Baric Comp VR and Resolution driv ers They contain a number of cutting edge features to give you outstanding per formance and dependability Thanks for buying KICKER Enjoy Installation Instructions Your new Kicker SS Series Full Range System is equipped with boundary loaded bass vents which couple with your vehicle s interior for enhanced bass response For most effective bass loading the rear of the enclosure must be mounted within three inches to four inches from the rear of the vehicle After determining the mounting position turn the enclosure upside down and attach the four mounting brackets to the bottom of the enclosure using the enclosed small screws Each bracket must be positioned so the rounded end pro trudes approximately 3 4 inch from under the cabinet to allow a screw to easily pass through it for attachment to the vehicle Plug the speaker wires securely into the left and right speaker terminals Make cer tain the polarity is the same on both sides Failure to do this will result in the two channels being out of phase and will drastically reduce bass performance Position the enclosure in it
