10. e The unit then automatically checks the condition of the tape and after approximately 7 seconds re enters Record Pause mode Press We to start recording If you want to bypass the B E S T system and begin recording immediately set B E S T to OFF pg 53 24 VIDEO Plus Timer Programming With the VIDEO Plus system timer programming is greatly simplified because each TV programme has a corresponding code number which your unit is able to recognize Before performing the VIDEO Plus Timer Programming e Make sure that the unit s built in clock is set properly Insert a cassette with the safety tab in place The unit will come on automatically e Turn on the TV and select the video channel or AV mode e Slide the TV VCR DVD switch on the remote control to the right Slide to the right TQ 1l Select the VHS deck On the unit Press VCR DVD repeatedly so that the VCR indicator lights up On the remote control Press VCR so that the VCR indicator lights up 2 Access the VIDEO Plus screen Press PROG PLUSCODE NO p ENENN 28 0 9 PLUSCODE NO 4 EXPRESS PROGRAMING PROG EXIT VIDEO PLUS SYSTEM OPERATIONS ON VHS DECK cont 3 Enter the PlusCode number Press the number keys to enter the PlusCode number of a programme you wish to record e f you make a mistake press X and input the correct
