1. i I Ta human touch ane Stee perfect chair STEN chiens rc ae REPLACING THE FOOTREST ROD PC 075 085 095 Tools Required 4 mm 5 32 Allen Key provided 10 mm wrench SERVICE LEVEL 2 SAVE ALL REMOVED PARTS FOR USE DURING REASSEMBLY C C Footrest rod assembled GET READY 1 Gently tip the chair on its back Fig 1 REMOVING THE FOOTREST ROD 1 Using a 10 mm wrench turn the metal footrest rod nut counter clockwise to detach the rod from the spacer barrel then remove the rod from the chair frame Spacer barrel 2 Using the 4 mm 5 32 Allen Key provided remove the screw from the top of the black plastic spacer barrel to detach the spacer barrel from the bracket Fig 2 Footrest rod Screw INSTALLING THE NEW FOOTREST ROD 1 Remove the screw from the top of the black plastic spacer barrel Fig 3 2 Align the spacer barrel with the corresponding hole on the bracket then secure it using the screw Bracket you removed in the previous step and the 4 mm 5 32 Allen Key Fig 4 3 From below the chair frame insert the metal rod through the corresponding hole in the chair Spacer barrel frame then into the black spacer barrel Fig 4 4 Turn the metal rod clockwise by hand to secure it then tighten it using a 10 mm wrench af 0 Footrest rod Fig 4 Fig 3 Please send any questions or comments regarding these instruct2. ions to documentation humantouch com a 2009 Human Touch LLC human touch
