3. an easily access multiple computers in a cost effective manner The CS152F unit can control up to 2 PCs all from a single console Setup is fast and easy all that is required is for the user to plug the cables into the appropriate ports There is no software to configure so there is no need to get involved in complex installation routines or to be concerned with incompatibility problems Since the CS152F intercepts keyboard input directly it works on any hardware platform and with all operating systems The CS152F provides two convenient methods to access any PC connected to the system 1 using the push button port selection switch located on top of the unit s panel 2 entering Hotkey combinations from the keyboard In addition a powerful Quick View Scan feature allows you to auto scan and monitor the activities of all operating PCs on the installation one by one There is no better way to save time and money By allowing a single console to manage all the attached PCs the CS152F eliminates the expense of purchasing a separate keyboard monitor and mouse for each PC and saves all the extra space as well It also eliminates the inconvenience and unnecessary effort involved in constantly moving around from one PC to another gt o o o o o S Features CSIS2F 2 Port KWM Switch Control Up to 2 PCs From a Single Console No Software Required PC Selection via Select button on the Switch HotKey combination

5. d off Installation To set up your CS152F please follow the steps below 1 Plug the cables from your keyboard mouse and monitor into the Console Ports 2 Use the supplied connector cable sets as described in the Hardware Requirements section to connect the monitor keyboard and mouse ports of the PCs to the CS152F 2 port KVM Switch 3 The CS152F does not require external power If you choose to use external power plug the power adapter into an AC power source then plug the cable into the CS152F Power Jack Note Use of a DC power adapter is optional and requires a separate purchase 4 Turn on the power of the PCs Installation Diagram ae a i E D D L geh 1 CSIS2F Z Port EWM Swich ep Operation Port Selection Controlling all the PCs connected to your CS152F from a single console couldn t be easier You can access any PC on the chain using two methods Manual or HotKey Manual Simply press the Select button located on top of the CS152F to switch back and forth between computers The selected LED lights indicate the port that is currently in use HotKey Navigation HotKey navigation allows you to conveniently access connected PCs directly from the keyboard instead of having to manually select by pressing the Select button on the CS152F switch To select a port with the HotKey method do the following 1 Press and release the Scroll Lock key twice within 2 seconds and press a
