3. sing 6 Y x 1 2 Hex Head Bolts Hex Head Nuts 12 Flat Washers and 5 Lock Washers FINAL SQUARING e With step square at desired height tighten all hardware e Start with the Frame Brackets and then check for square again e Proceed to tighten Support Channels to Frame Brackets then Frame Brackets to Step Plate Note There are numerous holes in the step brackets for other Vehicle applications IF FLIP PORTION OF STEP WAS ODERED SEPARATELY USE THE FOLLOWING INSTALLATION 1 MOUNT FLIP DOWN STEP e Remove hardware located on frame brackets of existing step e Install 4 flip down step adapter plates reusing 2 hardware removed from permanent rear step e Attach 2 step to existing adapter plates using 2 1 per side 2 x 3 Hex bolt washer nylon spacer and nylock nut e Tighten hardware e Attach spring latch onto existing rear step using 4 x 3 4 Stainless Carriage bolt and nylock nuts Some models do not contain prepunched hole for spring latch e Mount rubber bumbers to existing step e Using outer pre punched holes attach rubber bumbers to existing step using 10 x 74 machine screw and nylock nuts Do not overtighten KK ST FLIP INST 6 07 iei ia ELL EREATERERERAM ae sta f ak s omn 1 mA n RENS XN ki eee ec aug RES M ay b x emissa M N EV menm AN BOO WES Ae EEA x ETEA oe up M ii Wr Li t i Sikana tannas A EEEREN ON mese NS nea
