FLOOR SANITIZER USER MANUAL MS 30 IMPORTANT WARNING To reduce the risk of fire electrical shock or injury the following basic safety precautions should always be followed when using an electrical appliance READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR STEAM CLEANER DO NOT leave your Steam Cleaner unattended when plugged in or not in use N This unit is not a toy Close supervision is required when using unit near children pets and plants Steam produced by unit is hot and pressurized Care must be taken to avoid burns or other injurics Never point nozzle at people or pets w Always unplug electrical cord when unit is not in use DO NOT use this unit if electrical cord or outlet is damaged DO NOT use unit if it is not working properly or has been dropped damaged or left outdoors If such damage occurs retum unit to a licensed service technician for repairs This unit is an electrical appliance DO NOT submerge it in water DO NOT use steam hose or clectrial cord as a handle DO NOT allow hose or cord to be crimped by closing it in doors DO NOT pull or stretch hose or cord around sharp comers or edges Be sure to keep electrical cord away from all heated surfaces n DO NOT use this unit with extension cords or electrical outlets that have inadequate current capacity Athree prong outlet or a properly grounded adapter is necessary when using Steam Cleaner a gt In order to unplug Steam Cleaner

4. refill the unit ILTRA MICROFIBER PADS FOR HAAN FLOOR SANITIZER What is an ultra microfiber An ultra microfiber is a textile fiber that is thinner than a microfiber 1 0dtex Specifically to be defined as an ultra microfiber it should be less than 0 2dtex The Ultra Microfiber pad by HAAN Corporation is made of 0 17dtex ultra microfibers lt How To Use Ultra Microfiber Pads gt 1 Please make sure that you always use completely dried pads 2 As high temperature steam passes through a pad to contact the floor to kill germs molds mites and to provide a certain amount of water necessary for cleaning it is natural that the pad gradually absorbs moisture After a certain length of time the pad repels water and becomes damp 3 To keep the floor clean and dry replace the pad when it is dirty lt How To Clean and Store gt 1 Ultra microfiber pads are easy to wash Soak pads for about 1 2 hours in cold or lukewarm water with laundry detergent and hand wash them If you use a washing machine use a brief and light cycle for example delicate or wool cycle 2 Using a washing machine may shorten the lifespan of the pads 3 Dry pads indoors by natural ventilation If you use a dryer please do not use a fabric softener and adjust it to cold cycle KOR E ranger ty CAUTION Always allow your floor sanitizer to cool before changing or removing the ultra microfiber pad NE YEAR LIMITED WAR

RAN Your HAAN Garment Steamer is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one 1 year from the date of purchase when utilized for normal household use by the original puchaser only The included Warranty Registration Card must be filled out and returned within 10 days of purchase This is essential for your warranty to be effective should any problem arise with this product Should any defect covered by the terms of the limited warranty be discovered within one year HAAN Corporation will repair or replace by defective part provided the unit is returned by the original purchaser freight prepaid to 44 North Queen Street Lancaster PA 17603 Proof of purchase date and 12 95 for handling and return packing shipping charges must be included The liability under this warranty is limited solely to the cost of the replacement parts or the complete unit at our option LABOUR CHARGES ARE NOT INCLUDED This warranty is extended to the original purchaser of the unit and excludes all other legal and or conventional warranties The responsibility of HAAN Corporation if any is limited to the specific obligations expressly assumed by it under the term of the limited warranty In no event is HAAN Corporation liable for incidental or consequential damages of any nature whatsoever Some States Provinces do not permit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above may not apply to you This w
6. age Store Steam Cleaner in a cool dry location a No REMOVING MINERAL BUILD UP Acommon problem with steam appliances is mineral build up caused by high mineral content in many municipal water supplies The best way to avoid this is to use de mineralized or distilled water in unit If you are unable to use de mineralized or distilled water we recommend you use this procedure monthly to help avoid mineral build up Switch Lighted On Off Switch to OfP position and unplug grounded power cord from electrical outlet Allow unit to completely cool Remove all accessories from unit Flip up Storage Compartment lid and remove Water Reservoir cap Drain water from Water Reservoir into sink or tub Using Measuring Cup make a mixture of 8 oz vinegar and 8 oz water Slowly pour water vinegar solution into Water Reservoir Allow to stand for 10 minutes Drain water vinegar solution from Water Reservoir Rinse Water Reservoir with fresh water drain and repeat until vinegar oder dissipates 0 Replace Water Reservoir cap and lower Steorage Compartment lid back down 6 a OMPnoarwn TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION Unit fails to steam Lighted On Off Switch does not illuminate Unit is not plugged in Plug into electrical outlet Household Circuit Breaker Ground Fault Interrupler has tripped or blown a fuse Reset Circuit Breakcr Ground Fault interrupter or replace fuse If you ne

9. face you desire to steam and press Steam Button CAUTION Always be sure that Stam Jet Nozzle and other accessories are pointed in a safe direction away from yourself other people pets and plants before pressing Steam Button 9 Keep Steam Button depressed for continuous flow of stem You may also slide the Steam Lock Switch forward while depressing the Steam Button to lock without having to down the Steam Button NOTE During use the Steam Ready Light may illuminate This is normal If you notice a drop in stem pressure release Steam Button until Steam Ready Light deactivates once again 10 Once steaming tasks are complete immediately set Lighted On Off Switch to Off position and unplug grounded power cord from electrical outlet Follow steps under Proper Storage procedure on page 6 of this manual CARE AN GE GUIDELINES PROPER STORAGE Preparing your Steam Cleaner for storage is quick and simple When you have finished your steaming tasks follow the steps listed below Switch Lighted On Off Switch to Off position and unplug grounded power cord from electrical outlet Allow unit to cool completely at least 30 minutes Remove all accessories from unit RON Drain any remaining water in Water Reservoir into a sink or tub to prevent over filing during your next use Store accessories safely away near Steam Cleaner Utility Brushes can be conveniently stored in the Storage Compartment Store power cord in the stor
10. o the Steam Jet Nozzle providing extra power for removing exceptionally tough dirt and stains Storage of Power Cord 2 Store power cord in the Storage ING THE STEAM CLEANER Place Steam Cleaner on a flat level surface 2 Fill Measuring Cup to maximum fill line 16 oz with water NOTE To prolong the life of your Steam Cleaner we recommend using distilled or de mineralized water 3 Carefully pour water from Measuring Cup into Water Reservoir through fill hole 4 Depending on how long you intend to steam you may repeat steps 2 amp 3 up to two more times to have up to a maximum of 25 oz of water See chart for a comparison of the amount of water vs approximate steam time Amount of Water Steam Duration 1002 Approximately 15 min 20 02 Approximately 30 min 5 Plug grounded power cord into a convenient electrical outlet CAUTION This unit uses a grounded 3 prong electrical plug Use only in properly installed 3 prong electrical outlets Do not attempt to alter plug or circumvent this safety feature in any way 6 Steam Ready Light On Off Switch to On position Steam Ready Light will immediately illuminate Note Steam Ready Light is illuminated while boiler is heating 7 Steam Ready Light will deactivate in 2 8 minutes depending on how much water is in Water Reservoir indicating that boiler is heated and unit is ready to begin 8 Direct Steam Jet Nozzle or other accessories towards sur
