Pilot quickstart Thank you for purchasing Griffin AutoPilot AutoPilot not only lets you charge your iPod in your car while you listen it also adds one touch playback control AutoPilot acts as a wired remote that lets you control playback functions while your iPod is stowed away safely out of sight AutoPilot comes with a stereo audio cable for use with your car stereo s 1 8 3 5mm auxiliary input port and a Hi Lo signal switch Choose the setting that produces the strongest signal and clearest sound with your stereo system b Plug AutoPilot into your car s cigarette lighter or 12V accessory socket and plug the other end of AutoPilot s cable into the dock connector of your iPod b Plug the included stereo audio cable into AutoPilot s audio port and the other end into the Aux In port of your stereo b To play your iPod through a car cassette deck we recommend the Griffin DirectDeck cassette adapter available separately Play Pause e Press to skip e to beginning i of current track Press again to skip back to previous track Hold down to scan backward Troubleshooting Connected iPod is not charging or there is no LED showing Check O AutoPilot fully plugged into lighter o or power socket Is dock connector firmly connected to your iPod O Has your car s lighter fuse blown Check your owners manual for instructions on locating and replacing the fuse
