17. ens under the wide tab and tighten on a lens guard e While holding the lock nut with an adjustable wrench or pliers e Press firmly on the inside of the headlight lens to snap it into the tighten the screw lens guard e Turn the vehicle upright e Repeat this procedure to assemble the other headlight lens to the remaining lens guard H4433pr 0920 F ASSEMBLY Flying Disc Plastic Tie NL AHN 7 ND 15 AA Front View C7 Fit the lens tabs on the back of a lens assembly into the headlight slots in the grille Plastic Tie Press firmly to snap the lens assembly into the grille e Repeat this procedure to snap the other lens assembly into the grille e Using safety scissors cut the plastic ties holding the flying disc on the hood Dispose of the plastic ties properly Note to Retailer Do not remove the plastic ties e Insert a hood latch into one of the slots in the vehicle near the hood area Twist the base of the hood latch 1 4 turn to secure it in the vehicle Insert the tabs on the hood into the slots in the front end of Repeat this procedure on the other side of the hood area to attach the vehicle the other hood latch to the vehicle Pull the hood forward and lower it closed H4433pr 0920 ASSEMBLY F Windshield e Position the windshield so that the molded detail on the wipers faces the front end of the vehicle Insert and snap the two large tab

19. lt supervision Connector Wire e Position the dash on the vehicle e Make sure the motor harness connector wire is through the groove in the dash Insert a 10 x 1 2 screw through each of the two corner dash tabs nearest to the passenger compartment EN e Insert a 10 x 1 screw through the two dash tabs nearest to the battery compartment EJ Insert a 10 x 1 screw into the hole in the center of the dash JE Tighten the screws M mmm eee ED Sound Box Replace the sound box in the dash e Replace the three screws and tighten them Before applying the labels wipe the surface of the vehicle with a clean dry cloth to remove any dust or oils e Place the labels exactly as shown in the illustration e For best results avoid repositioning a label once it has been applied to the vehicle H4433pr 0920 9 ASSEMBLY Key Assembly Steering Wheel Side View Insert and snap the key assembly into the opening in the dash AS SMENI Position the steering wheel so that the large opening and the tab on the steering wheel stem are both UP e Fit the steering wheel onto the end of the steering column 5 9 X 11 Pin NG End of Steering Hole cs Column Steering Y 4 Column r Insert the 5 32 x 11 2 pin through the hole in the end of the steering column 7 Bottom Vie
20. ng between FORWARD and REVERSE without stopping Broken gears It is normal for some chargers to get warm during use and is not reason for concern Some chargers do not get warm during use It is normal for some batteries to make noise and swell slightly while charging and is not reason for concern Batteries in sound box are weak or dead SOLUTION Charge the battery A new battery should have been charged for at least 18 hours before using the vehicle for the first time After first time use recharge the battery for at least 14 hours after each use Never charge the battery longer than 30 hours Check all connectors Make sure the charger connector is tightly plugged into the battery connector and that the charger is plugged into the wall Make sure power flow to the wall outlet is ON Be sure to charge the battery after each use Even with proper care a rechargeable battery does not last forever Average battery life is 1 to 3 years depending on vehicle use and use conditions Replace only with a Power Wheels 12 Volt battery Do not substitute parts Make sure you do not overload the vehicle by allowing more than one rider at one time exceeding the 130 Ibs maximum weight capacity or by towing objects behind the vehicle If the vehicle is overloaded the built in thermal fuse in the battery may trip and automatically shut down operation for approximately 25 seconds Adjust the driving conditions to preven
