INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS a a Dakota Dig ita e for 1967 Chevelle and 1974 79 Camaro MAN 650178 rev A Kit Includes Installation 1 Remove the original bulb connector from the back side of the housing 2 Remove the tail light housing from the vehicle 3 On the Chevelle remove the chrome tail light cover There are four nuts on the back side of the housing 4 Remove the tail light lens On the Camaro there are five screws and one metal clip on the back side of the housing 5 Now is a good time to clean the lens and housing If lenses are in bad shape a new set is recommended 6 Remove the lock nuts and aluminum back plate from the back of the new LED assembly 7 Insert the new LED assembly through the hole where the original bulb and connector were Use caution when feeding the wires through to avoid damaging the wire insulation 8 Feed the wires through the large hole in the back plate and attach the A back plate onto the back side of the housing The flat side of the A mounting disk should be toward the outside and the side with the slight ern ii raised center should go in toward the housing This will align the mount in the original housing 9 Secure the back plate with the supplied 6 lock nuts 10 Make sure the original lens gasket is in place and replace the tail light lens 11 Replace the chrome trim and then tighten down carefully 12 Cut off the exist
