Start Split Stop Split release Clear First runner Second runner Display time of finishes finishes second runner Display time of first runner Countdown Timer The countdown timer can be set within a range of one minute to 24 hours An alarm sounds when the countdown reaches zero O ZTF e The countdown operation continues even if you exit the s Countdown Timer Mode e All of the operations in this section are performed in the Countdown Timer Mode which you enter by pressing Mode indicator Hours Seconds To use the countdown timer Press while in the Countdown Timer Mode to start the Minutes countdown timer e When the end of the countdown is reached the alarm sounds for 10 seconds or until you stop it by pressing any button The countdown time is reset to its starting value automatically after the alarm stops e Press while a countdown operation is in progress to pause it Press again to resume the countdown To stop a countdown operation completely first pause it by pressing and then press 4 This returns the countdown time to its starting value To set the countdown start time 1 In the Countdown Timer Mode hold down until the hours of the countdown start time start to flash which indicates the setting screen 2 Press to move the flashing between the hours and minutes 3 While a setting is flashing use or to change it e To set the starting value of the countdown
2. 2 Press to move the flashing in the sequence shown below E Seconds gt DST City code gt Hour a Day Month _ Year lt Minutes While the seconds setting is selected flashing press to reset it to 00 If you press while the seconds setting is in the range of 30 to 59 the seconds are reset to 00 and 1 is added to the minutes If the seconds setting is in the range of 00 to 29 the minutes count is unchanged e While the DST setting is selected DST on indicator is flashing press to toggle it on On and off OF e The DST on off setting you select for the Timekeeping Mode affects the World Time Mode e While the city code setting is selected use and to scroll through the available codes until the one you want to use as your home time city is displayed e For full information on city codes see the City Code Table 4 While any other setting is selected flashing press to increase it or press to decrease it Holding down or scrolls at high speed 5 Press to exit the setting screen e The day of the week is set in accordance with the date automatically e The date can be set within the range of January 1 2000 to December 31 2099 e The watch s built in full automatic calendar makes allowances for different month lengths and leap years automatically Once you set the date there should be no reason to change
