Return Button A B Button Forward Button Reverse Button 11 Slow Button 12 Stop Button 13 Number Buttons 14 Setup Button 15 Menu Button 16 Repeat Button 17 Previous Button 18 Next Button 19 Play Button 20 Pause Button Figure 5 F Loading and Playing a Disc a b C After connecting power to the unit slide the POWER ON OFF on the right side to ON the DVD player s POWER indicator lights Open the disc tray by pressing OPEN at the lower right of the disc tray and place a disc into the tray with the disc s label facing up Press PRESS at the right side of the door until it clicks shut The unit will load the disc and start playing by pressing PLAY located either on the right side of the disc tray or on the remote Rotate BRIGHT and VOLUME to adjust the LCD s brightness and the DVD player s volume To stop playing a disc press STOP f Toturn off the DVD player slide POWER ON OFF to OFF The DVD player s POWER indicator turns off g Toremove the disc open the disc tray then you will see a picture on the right inner corner of the cover to indicate how to remove the disc just use your finger to access the right inner corner of the disc tray and lift up the disc and remove it from the disctray Please refer to Figure 6 Remove disc from here Figure 6 10 G SETUP Press SETUP to display the Main screen of the SETUP Menu on the screen Press SETUP again to exit

15. ease refer to L Rechargeable Battery Installation and Use Page 29 to page 31 Rechargable Battery Pack No VBB5058 is OPTIONAL E Installation Prior to installation Make sure that the unit is placed into the bag with the clear plastic covering around DVD door Load disc into the DVD compartment and then fasten the Velcro strap accross the top portion of the unit If you are installing the bag onto the seatback you will need to attach the supplied Seat Standoff to the back of the mounting bag with the Velcro bands to obtain the proper viewing angle as shown in Figure 1 Installing the System onto the seat back in a car Referto Figure 2 1 3 Seat Stan Figure 2 Take one of the supplied straps from the carrier bag Con nect the latch to one of the upper metal rings on the mounti ng bag Connect the S hook to the other upper metal ring and place the loop over the headrest Adjust the strap until the bag is firmly secured Take another strap from the carrier bag and connectthe latch to the lower metal ring on the left side of the bag Attach the S hook to the same ring after looping the strap around the seat rail Repeat this process for the right side In some vehicles it may be necessary to attach the S connector to the rail directly as it may not be long enough to reach back to the ring Adjust the straps tightly so that the bag is secured 2 Installing the system between the driver passenger seat Re

17. he battery for an extended period of time say one week or longer we recommend that you first fully charge the battery and store it away properly For longer periods of storage please recharge the battery at least once every two months to main tain the battery in its best condition Please under no circumstances short out the battery store the battery in a metal container or leave the battery in a humid or damp environment Ideally store the battery in an airtight container with desiccant or other dehumidifying agent Each full recharge takes approximately five hours and one full charge can power the player for approximately 3 hours During recharge the light next to the DC power input will light up red Once fully recharged the light will turn green At this point you may remove the wall plug and cease charging Precautions related to Battery Recharge 1 Once the battery has been fully spent please immediately recharge the battery regardless of whether you plan to use battery power again soon in order to maximize battery life 2 To charge the battery please connect the power jack directly into the VBP58 and leave the POWER switch in the off position 30 Using and Maintaining your Rechargeable Batteries 1 Please make sure you always use only the AC transformer included with the player to recharge your batteries 2 Recharge effectiveness will degrade when environmental tempera tures drop below 50 F 10 C or exceed 95 F 35
