3. on f Situation same as Scenario A Primary number uses an anwering machine as shown in schematic right Solution f Install as in Scenario A w Set answering machine to pick up after 4 or more rings Notes In this situation when a fax call comes in because the ring delay set on the answering machine is greater than on the fax the fax machine will pick the call up before the answering machine On the other hand when a voice call comes in the Ring Selector will block the call from the fax machine Scenario C Situation Wf Situation same as Scenario A w The bedroom extension phone to ring only for voice calls primary number o123 mw Purchase 2 Ring Selectors etre oFcornens Ww Install as in Scenario A for Fax WwW Attach the 2nd Ring Selector to bedroom phone as shown right and set switch to the 1 position Solution 5 FAMILY ROOMATES Ideal for families with teenage children live in grandparents or nannies and for households with roommates Just plug in one of these handy devices at each extension where you want to limit the type of calls that ring through Set the switch to ring type 1 2 or 3 and from now on only calls with that type of ring will ring at that location For those occasions when you do want to hear all the calls at that location just slide the switch to 0 and all calls will ting at that extension
