4. ing suspended ceiling tiles e Masking tape e An access point mounting plate supplied with your 1130 series access point e An access point adjustable mounting bracket supplied with your 1130 series access point e 48x32 flat head machine screws supplied with your 1130 series access point Cisco Aironet Converter Clip for Channel Grid Suspended Ceilings AIR ACC CLIP 20 78 18348 01 Mounting an Antenna W REVIEW DRAFT CISCO CONFIDENTIAL Mounting an Antenna Mounting an antenna on a channel grid suspended ceiling requires two converter clips The clips attach to the ceiling channel and must be disassembled before you can attach them Figure 2 shows how the converter clips are installed on a channel and how the antenna attaches to the converter clips Figure 2 Antenna Mounted on a Ceiling Channel 1 Channel converter clip 2 Antenna mounting E Z clip Follow these steps to mount the antenna on a suspended ceiling channel Step1 Identify the location where you intend to mount the antenna Step2 Raise the ceiling tiles on both sides of the channel If desired you can remove the tiles Step3 Use a ruler to measure the distance between the center points of the antenna E Z clips Step4 Use a pencil to mark the distance you measured in Step 2 channel where you will install the converter clips Make sure the marks are above the channel so you can see them when you install the converter clips Step5 Remove two converter cl
