1. If the back of your flat panel is curved has a protrusion or if the mounting holes are recessed you will need to use the longer screws E G or I and may also need to use the spacers K Determine the correct diameter of screw to use by carefully trying one of each size M4 M6 and M8 from the hardware kit Do not force any screws If you feel resistance stop immediately and try a smaller diameter screw Insert the tilt adjustment rod so that it passes through both mount arms see Fig 5 Attach the tilt adjust ment knobs L using the M4x10 screws M Make the tilt adjustment knobs point downwards NOTE If the holes of the mount do not line up with the holes on your flat panel check to make sure that your flat panel is VESA compatible This mount can only be used with flat panels that are VESA 200 x 200 compatible Remove the clips located near the top of each mount arm and take out the pins Open both mount arms completely as shown Fig 6 Place the opened mount arms over the back of your flat panel so that the hinges are located toward the bottom of the flat panel Slide each mount arm along the length of the tilt adjustment rod until it is lined up with the mounting holes on the back of your flat panel Attach the mount arms to the back of your flat panel using the screws identified in steps 1 and 2 see Fig 7 For flat panels For flat panels with flat backs with curved or recessed backs Q 7 Close the mount arms b2. bas REMARQUE Si les trous de montage ne sont pas align s avec les trous au dos de l cran assurez vous que votre cran soit compatible VESA Ce support ne peut tre utilis qu avec des crans plats compatibles VESA 200 x 200 4 Retirez les pinces situ es pr s du haut de chaque bras de montage ainsi que les tiges Ouvrez les deux bras de montage compl tement tel que montr voir Fig 6 5 Placez le bras de montage ouvert sur le dos de votre cran de sorte que les charni res soient situ es vers le bas du cran Glissez chaque bras de montage sur toute la longueur de la tige de r glage de l inclinaison jusqu ce qu il soit align avec les trous de montage l arri re de votre cran 6 Fixez les bras de montage l arri re de votre cran de l aide des vis identifi es aux tapes 1 et 2 voir figure 7 Pour les crans Pour les crans g dos incurv ou dos plat 7 Fermez le bras de montage en les retournant leur position initiale Ins rez la tige et replacez le clip sur les deux bras Assurez vous que la tige de r glage de l inclinaison soit en position verrouill e en tournant les boutons en les loignant de l cran plat Le bras de montage doit tre enti rement ferm et verrouill avant de passer la prochaine tape 7 FT2B ME 062011 IM Partie 3 Assemblage final 1 Avec l aide d une autre personne soulevez votre cran avec pr caution et placez le sur la plaque mur
3. 062011 IM Partie 2 Fixation du support l cran plat IMPORTANT Soyez tr s prudent lors de cette tape de l installation vitez autant que possible de placer votre cran face vers le bas cela pouvant endommager sa surface REMARQUE Ce support est livr avec une s lection de vis de diam tres et de longueurs vari s pour convenir a une grande vari t de mod les d crans Vous n utiliserez pas tout le mat riel dans cette trousse 1 D terminez la bonne longueur de vis a utiliser en examinant l arri re de votre cran plat A Si le dos de l cran est plat et les trous de montage sont au ras de la surface utilisez les vis les plus courtes D F ou H de la trousse de montage B Si l arri re de votre cran plat est incurv en saillie ou si les trous de fixation sont en retrait vous devrez utiliser les vis plus longues E G ou l et vous aurez peut tre besoin des cales K 2 D terminez le bon diam tre de la vis a utiliser en essayant soigneusement une vis de chaque dimension M4 M6 ou M8 provenant de la trousse de quincaillerie Ne serrez pas trop fort Si vous vous sentez une r sistance arr tez imm diatement et essayez une vis de plus petit diam tre 3 Ins rez la tige de r glage de l inclinaison de sorte qu elle passe par les deux bras de montage voir Fig 5 Fixez les boutons de r glage de l inclinaison L en utilisant les vis M4 x 10 M Pointez les boutons de r glage de l inclinaison vers le

10. te mark four evenly spaced locations on the wall for securing the mount see Fig 3 Set the wall plate aside and drill a 10 mm 3 8 hole at each marked location Remove any excess dust from the holes Insert a concrete anchor C into each hole so that it is flush with the concrete surface see Fig 4 A hammer can be used to lightly tap the anchors into place if necessary NOTE If the concrete wall is covered by a layer of plaster or drywall the concrete anchor must pass completely through the layer to rest flush with the concrete surface 5 Place the wall plate back against the wall and attach it using the lag bolts A and lag bolt washers B provided see Fig 2 Do not over tighten these screws Ensure that the wall plate remains level after all screws are secured FT2B ME 062011 IM Part 2 Attaching the mount to the flat panel IMPORTANT Use extra care during this part of the installation If possible avoid placing your flat panel facedown as it may damage the viewing surface NOTE This mount comes with a selection of different screw diameters and lengths to accommodate a wide variety of flat panel models Not all of the hardware in the kit will be used 1 Determine the correct length of the screw to use by examining the back of your flat panel A If the back of your flat panel is flat and the mounting holes are flush with the surface you will use the shorter screws D F or H from the hardware kit B
11. y returning them to the original position Insert the pin and replace the clip on both arms Make sure the tilt adjustment rod is turned to the locked position by rotating the knobs away from the flat panel The mount arms must be fully closed and locked before moving on to the next part FT2B ME 062011 IM Part 3 Final Assembly 1 With the help of another person carefully lift your flat panel and place it on the wall plate Do not release until the mount arms are securely hooked onto the wall plate 2 Insert the safety bar at the bottom of the mount to prevent the flat panel from being lifted from the wall plate A padlock can be inserted into the end of the bar for additional security see Fig 8 IMPORTANT The safety bar should be used at all times to prevent the flat panel from being accidentally knocked from the mount Padlock optional not included Safety bar Part 4 Operation and Adjustment 1 To change the tilt angle of your flat panel hold the flat panel firmly with one hand and rotate one of the tilt adjustment knobs towards the flat panel away from the wall to unlock the tilt Make sure you rotate the knob fully Carefully move the flat panel to the desired position and then return the tilt adjustment knob to its original position to lock the flat panel in place Do not release your flat panel until the tilt is locked 2 Periodically clean your mount with a dry cloth Inspect all
