En 20 PURE AUDIO Enjoying the Pure Audio Sound Pressing the PURE AUDIO button on the receiver activates the Pure Audio listening mode PURE AUDIO The Pure Audio listening mode allows Q you to enjoy purer sound by disabling NA the video signal output and turning off the indication in the display In the Pure Audio listening mode the tone controls are bypassed and adjustments using the BASS and TREBLE controls are ignored Pure Audio listening mode can be turned on off individually for each input source Notes You can t select Pure Audio mode if Zone 2 is on To cancel the Pure Audio listening mode press the receiver s PURE AUDIO button Recording Unless you have the full consent of the copyright holder copyright laws prohibit using your recordings for anything other than personal enjoyment This section explains how to record the selected input source to a component with recording capability and how to record audio and video from different sources Recording the Input Source Audio sources can be recorded to a recorder e g cassette tape deck CDR MD recorder Video sources can be recorded to a video recorder e g VCR DVD recorder 1 ee the recorder Set the recorder so that it s ready for recording e If necessary adjust the recording level on the recorder See the recorder s manual for more information Use the receiver s
