8. 22 23 24 25 26 27 Adjustable Sun Shield Helps prevent glare from bright lights Infrared IR LEDs Allows the camera to see in the dark up to 15ft away CDS Sensor Automatically turns on the infrared LEDs when it gets dark out Camera Housing Made of anodized aluminum to prevent rust Camera Mount Allows the camera to be desk or wall mountable Connection to Video Power Wire 4 P NDIN THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE INSTALLATION For best performance follow these simple guidelines Camera s should be installed between 8 and 13 feet above the area to be monitored To maximize viewing area ensure there are no obstructions in the camera s view Ensure that the sunshade is positioned to avoid glare and position cameras away from direct sunlight Each camera comes with 60 feet of extension wire Please make sure you mount the cameras no more than 60 feet from the DVR The DVR should be placed on a flat stable surface Adequate ventilation must be provided so do not block any of the air vents on the back of the DVR We recommend using a surge protected power bar and or an Uninterrupted Power Supply UPS to power the DVR and cameras CAMERA INSTALLATION MOUNTING 1 Decide if the camera will be wall mounted or sit on a desk tabletop The camera can be adjusted for either mounting scenario by rotating the camera to the required position 2 Screw each mounting bracket into each camera s mounting hole turning it clockw

13. to Archive Data Retry again error message The camera s image appears on screen but nothing is recorded The camera is not displayed on the Live Display screen It is just a blue box with the words NO SIGNAL My PTZ camera not included is not working The picture is displaying but can not control the camera The camera picture is too dark The color on the camera picture is too yellow blue etc can t see at night with my IR night vision camera Video footage plays slow and choppy when viewing the DVR over a remote connection My browser keeps freezing CLEARVU9 yA adji Your chosen dates times do not contain any video or data Choose a larger or alternate time frame Look in the top right corner of the frame which the camera is displayed If you see a green E it means that the camera is in motion detection mode but currently there is no movement happening so no footage is being recorded If there is nothing in the top right corner it means you have set your schedule to have the camera cease recording For more information see RECORDING MODES pg 19 Check the camera s video cable and connections Check the DVR s video cable and connections Check the camera s power supply The camera may be in COVERT mode Go to General Camera Camera Title and see if anything under the COVERT heading is checked to ON Verify the channel protocol and baud rate with the PTZ camera s instruction
