10. fuser and may not be covered by the warranty 32 Phaser 7700 Color Printer Envelopes Guidelines for envelope printing Caution Never use envelopes with windows or metal clasps they will damage the printer Damage caused by using unsupported envelopes may not be covered by your printer s warranty m Envelopes can only be printed from the Multi Purpose Tray MPT m Use only paper envelopes m Donot print on the back of the envelope m Keep unused envelopes in their packaging to avoid the effects of moisture and dryness which can affect print quality and cause wrinkling m Many applications include a tool for creating an envelope document For example Microsoft Word includes an Envelopes and Labels feature in the Tools menu Make sure that you select Face Down select the feed method with the image centered and unselect Clockwise Rotation m 2 Z UR e 9 oO n m Loada maximum of 10 envelopes at a time m This printer is not designed to handle high capacity production envelope printing m Envelopes may wrinkle depending on weight and stiffness of the envelope User Guide 33 Loading Envelopes 1 Insert the envelopes in the Multi Purpose Tray MPT m Place 49 1 2 Booklet B4 B5 and B6 envelopes short edge feed SEF m Place 10 C4 C5 C6 and DL envelopes long edge feed LEF m Place the side to be printed face down with the flap closed m The flap enters the printer last
