Each nozzle will clip on the end of the standard tire valve connector located at the free end of the compressor hose The compressor nozzles are stored inside the hose hatch The compressor hose with tire fitting is stored in a retaining channel between the jumper cable channels on the rear of the unit The ON OFF Switch is located on the side of the Main Unit near the AC Recharge Port The compressor can operate long enough to fill up to 3 average sized tires before the battery must be recharged The compressor may be used by removing the air hose from the storage hatch and if required fitting an appropriate nozzle to the air hose An On Off switch located on the side of the unit controls the power to the compressor and the gauge light Refer to Figure 3 for locations of compressor hose nozzle storage hatch and hose Return hose to the storage compartment after use STORAGE HATCH FOR HOSE AND ADAPTERS COMPRESSOR ADAPTERS HOSE AND NOZZLES CHUCK s The compressor is capable of inflating up to 260 pounds per square inch PSI pressure To avoid over inflation ea sul follow instructions on articles to be inflated Never exceed recommended pressures Bursting articles can cause serious injury Always check pressure with the pressure gauge Never leave compressor unattended while in use Allow unit to cool after 10 minutes of continuous operation 6 1 WARNINGS FOR COMPRESSOR USE Manual 022APC 11 12 20 02 8 40 PM
5. 12 Volt DC battery boat truck car airplane RV personal watercraft snowmobile garden tractor gasoline engine generator etc Operate 12 Volt DC fans inflators fluorescent worklights cellular phones can quick charge a cellular phone by using the phone s 12 Volt DC adapter cord spotlights TVs portable radios cassette or CD players and more Operate Certain 110 120 Volt AC Accessories requires a Vector 12 volt power inverter sold separately The JUMP START SYSTEM has an easy to read series of LED Light Emitting Diode charge indicators that show when the unit is fully charged or the level of charge in the battery Charge level can be viewed when the charge status push button is pressed A 12 vol DC accessory socket is provided for use with appliances that can operate from a vehicle 1 2VDC accessory outlet This allows maximum portability and utility when the Jump Start Sytem is used in remote locations The Jump Start System can be recharged from any standard 110 120 Volt AC power source using the supplied AC Recharge Adapter The adapter barrel connector attaches to the Recharge Port on the top panel of the jump starter A built in 12 Volt appliance socket and the appropriate DC DC charging adapter cord is used to recharge the battery from another 12 volt DC source When pressed the CHARGE STATUS button will show the battery power level status from Low to Full The green LED full indicator illuminates when the unit is

OFF vehicle ignition and all accessories radio A C lights cell phone etc Place vehicle in park and set the emergency brake 2 Remove booster clamps from protective holster Figure 1 simply squeeze the handles and pull up on the clamp 3 Procedure for jump starting a NEGATIVE GROUNDED SYSTEM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL IS CONNECTED TO CHASSIS Connect positive red clamp to vehicle battery s positive terminal 3b Connect negative black clamp to chassis or a solid non moving metal vehicle component or body part Never clamp directly to negative battery terminal or moving part If the audible alarm sounds the polarity is not correct Reverse the connections 4 Procedure for jump starting POSITIVE GROUND SYSTEMS NOTE In the rare event that the vehicle to be started has a Positive Grounded System positive battery terminal is connected to chassis replace steps 3a and 3b above with steps 4a and 4b then proceed to steps 5 through 7 below 4a Connect negative black clamp to vehicle battery s negative terminal Ab Connect positive red clamp to vehicle chassis or a solid non mov ing metal vehicle component or body part DO NOT CLAMP DIRECTLY TO POSITIVE BATTERY TERMINAL OR MOVING PART 5 A five 5 second delay is built into this jump starter unit after the clamp connections are made This delay is designed to reduce the possibility of sparking upon connection We recommend waiting one 1 minute alter making the cla

9. corrected This VECTOR jump starter is equipped with an internal automatic safety switch This switch only activates when connections to the battery are correctly made positive to positive and negative to negative An incorrect connection will sound an audible 19 indicating an incorrect connection Should this alarm sound remove the clamps and reconnect ensuring proper polarity Once the connections are properly made the internal switch turns on and you are ready to jump start the wale This automatic internal safety switch is fully automatic and requires no action by the user 7 12 20 02 8 40 PM e COE 2 1 EASY STEP BY STEP JUMP STARTING INSTRUCTIONS This jump starter is equipped with an automatic safety switch that only allows jump start energy to when proper connections are made to battery and The automatic switch os in conjunction with an audible reverse polarity alarm and a large red LED If inadvertent reverse polarity occurs the alarm will sound and the red LED will light Disconnect the black clamp negative clamp first then the red clamp Reconnect properly and a green LED will light Wait one minute and then turn the key To recap Connect Red clamp first then black clamp Disconnect Black clamp first then red clamp Note The automatic safety switch and polarity alarms require the vehicle battery to have at least 2 volts when the clamps are connected 1 Turn
