Start the programme see Progremme Start The indication next to the Start delay button lights up and goes off when the programme starts Once having pressed the Start Pause button the countdown of the time delay begins When the programme starts the start delay indicator light goes off and is replaced by the programme sequence indication After the Start Pause button has been pressed the number of hours preselected can be reduced by pressing again the Start delay button To cancel the Start delay before you press the Start Pause button Turn the programme selector to another position or press the Reset button after having pressed the Start Pause button Press the Reset button for at least 3 second The start delay indicator light goes off PROGRAMME START Open the tap and press the Start Pause button The indication lamp next to the Start Pause button lights up The programme sequence indicator shows the current programme phase running from left to right through Wash Rinse Spin Drain When the programme phrase is finised the corresponding indication goes out Note If there is a power interruption or if the appliance is disconnected during the cycle the programme will run again from the point where it was interrupted DOOR OPEN INDICATION Before starting and after end of a programme the lamp lights to show the the lid can be opened As long as a w

Place a bowl beneath it I Turn the filter slowly anti clockwise until the grip is vertical do not remove it as yet W ait until all the water has drained out N ow unscrew the filter completely and extract it Clean the filter and the filter chamber qu E A Make sure the pump impeller in the housing behind the filter is not obstructed 9 Insert the filter again and screw it fully down in a clockwise direction to the stop until the grip is horizontal 10 Pour approximately one litre of water into the washing machine via the drum and check that water does not leak from the filter 11 Close the filter cover 12 Reconnect the washing machine GB 9 CARE AND MAINTENANCE Detergent dispenser Clean the detergent dispenser regularly at least three or four times a year to prevent detergent build up 1 Push in the buttons on each side of the dispenser 2 Pull the dispenser towards you and remove it A small quantity of water can remain in the dispenser It is advisable to carry the dispenser in an upright position 3 W ash the dispenser using running water You can also remove the siphon caps in the dispenser for cleaning 4 Replace the siphon caps in the dispenser if removed Make sure that they lock in place 5 Replace the dispenser by locating the bottom tabs in the lid holes and pivot until both of the upper buttons lock N ote ensure that the detergent dispenser is correctly reinstalled

The washing machine can be connected without a non return valve GB 17 Water stop anti flooding system see inlet hose type as shown on the right depending on model Screw the hose to the water supply tap Turn the tap fully on and check the water tightness of the connection The washing machine must not be connected to the mixing tap of anon pressurized water heater The inlet hose and the plastic enclosure contain depending on model electrical components do not cut the hose and do not immerse the enclosure in water If the flexible hose is damaged unplug the washing machine from the mains immediately turn off the tap and replace the hose If the flexible hose is too short replace it with a 3 m Water Stop hose available from After Sales Service or from your dealer This operation must be carried out exclusively by a qualified technician Connect the water drain hose 1 Unhook the drain hose from the left clip see arrow A on picture Important Do NOT loosen the drain hose from the right connection see arrow B on picture O therwise there is the risk of leakage and of scalding with hot water 2 Fixthe U bend C at the very end ofthe drain hose 3 Connect the drain hose to the siphon or hook it over the edge of a sink with the U bend and fix it properly Small hand basins are not suitable The edge of the sink must be no more than 100 cm from the floor If you need to add an exte

Water inlet hose filter Check and clean regularly at least two or three times a year 1 U nplug the washing machine 2 Turn off the tap 3 U nscrew the hose from the tap 4 Carefully clean the filter located at the end of hose without disassembling it for example with a tooth brush Note Do not submerge the hose in water 5 Screw the flexible hose back onto the tap by hand Do not use pliers risk of squashing the joint 6 Turn on the tap and check that the connections are water tight 7 Plug the washing machine back in Water inlet hose Check the inlet hose regularly for brittleness and cracks and replace it if necessary using a new hose of the same type The inlet hose as shown on picture A has a safety valve to prevent the appliance against uncontrolled water inlet if the safety valve inspection window is red the safety valve has been activated and the hose must be exchanged Contact out After Sales Service or your specialist dealer to obtain a new inlet hose If your inlet hose has a transparent hose coating fig B periodically check the colour of the transparent coating If the coating begins to turn red this is an indication that the hose may have a leak and should be replaced Contact our After Sales Service team or specialist dealer to obtain a replacement hose GB 10 Appliance exterior and control panel Clean with a soft damp cloth e f necessary a neutral household cleaner can be appl
6. e Wash your laundry in the desired programme Cotton Synthetics adding an appropriate amount of chlorine bleach to the SO FTEN ER chamber close the lid carefully Immediately after end of programme start the Rinse and Spin programme to eliminate any residual bleach smell if you want you can add softener N ever put both chlorine bleach and softener into the softener chamber at the same time GB 8 Using starch powder If you want to use starch powder proceed as follows e Wash your laundry in the desired wash programme e Prepare the starch solution according to the starch manufacturer s instructions e Fill the prepared starch solution maximum 100 ml into the softener chamber of the detergent dispenser e Close the lid and start programme Rinse and Spin CLEANING THE FILTER DRAINING RESIDUAL WATER The washing machine is provided with a self cleaning pump The filter keeps objects like buttons coins safety pins etc which have been left in the laundry W e recommend to check and clean the filter regularly at least two or three times a year Especially e if the appliance is not draining properly or if it fails to perform spin cycles e ifthe Clean pump indication lights up IMPORTANT make sure the water has cooled before draining the appliance Residual water must be drained also before transporting the machine 1 Unplugthe washing machine O pen the filter cover with a coin
7. four outer screws B on the machine and tighten them 4 Clip the two seals C supplied into the openings D of the washing machine N ote do not forget to replace and tighten the four outer screws GB 16 Adjust the feet Install the washing machine on a level surface near to electrical water and drain connections If the floor is uneven adjust the feet do not insert pieces of wood cardboard etc under the feet 1 Loosen the locknut using the wrench provided 2 Adjust the height of the feet by hand 3 Retighten the locknut by turning it anti clockwise Make sure that the feet are resting correctly on the floor and that the washing machine is perfectly level and stable use a spirit level The washing machine can be installed in an area 40 cm wide and 63 cm deep N ote if you install the machine on thick carpet adjust the feet to ensure that there is sufficient space under the machine for the air to circulate Connect the water inlet hose 1 Carefully screw the water inlet hose A see pictures 1 or 2 depending on model onto the tap by hand 2 Make sure there are no kinks in the hose 3 Check water tightness of tap and washing machine connections by turning the tap completely on If the hose is too short replace it with a suitable length of pressure resistant hose minimum 1000 kPa EN 50084 approved type Periodically check the hose for brittleness and cracks Replace if necessary

22. n the flaps or between flaps and drum GB 6 DETERGENTS AND ADDITIVES Choice of the right detergents and additives The type of detergent depends on e type of fabric cottons easy care synthetics delicate items wool N ote use only specific detergents for wool colour e washing temperature degree and type of soiling Notes Do not use liquid detergents when activating the Start D elay function if available on your machine Do not use liquid detergent for the main wash when activating the Prew ash option or selecting a programme with Prew ash depending on the model W hitish residues on dark fabrics are caused by insoluble detergents components used in modern phosphate free pow der detergents If you notice this problem shake or brush the affected items or use liquid detergents Keep detergents and additives in a safe dry place out of the reach of children Use only detergents and additives specifically produced for domestic washing machines If you use descaling agents dyes or bleaches make sure that they are suitable for washing machine use D escaler could contain components that can damage parts of your washing machine Do not use solvents turpentine benzine etc Do not machine wash fabrics that have been treated with solvents or flammable liquids GB 7 D osage Follow the instructions on the detergent pack in relation to e the degree and type of soiling
